has to be a good thing. if one is rejected for a visa after being rejected for an ETIAS, it suggests something more serious0 -

Except that you will also have to allow for expensive travel insurance once the EHIC card can't be used.
The latter is no substitute for comprehensive cover, especially as it is only valid within the EU.0
