    Well things are interesting at the mo.

    Had a think about El wanting me to kill my APRs and Z wanting me to have a life. The budget I was thinking of was more of the former and none of the latter...and I'm already living with two men. How much suffering do I deserve?

    Living with 3? ;)

    So I have paid £500 off HSBC cc. This reduces the amount to clear it in the short term by £100 a month meaning I can have a life. YIPPEE!

    Good things in my life don't have to be about men - lets face it, two of the things in my life are men and aren't necessarily good! Well one's okay and one looks at my boobs when I talk to him!

    CDL £10,000 £8207 18% paid off
    Dad £7000 £0 100% paid off
    Friend £280 £0 100% paid off
    Virgin CC £3350 £2520 25% paid off
    HSBC CC £4404 £1079 75% paid off 18% APR!!!
    M&S CC £1188 £1169 4% paid off
    HBOS CC £1430 £1416 1.7% paid off
    O/D £2200Going to try and stay under £1700!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    £2000 anyone?

    So current total looks like;

    £14405 down from £29852

    That's not too shabby is it?

    51.74% paid off

    Think we can live with the gorgeous boys a bit longer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    p.s. Still have the budget and this month's payments to work out. Think I can get close to another £400 off that HSBC nightmare card.

    He may be torn between looking you in the eyes, and looking at his feet, and that may seem like a good compromise...

    Years ago I was thinking of getting a t-shirt made with 'Hello Dave' printed on the front because of a male colleague who always looked at my boobs when talking to me ! :rotfl:

    My late sister had a T-shirt that said "Don't just stare, buy me a drink!"

    It should have been "They only speak French." and see how many men go "Bonjour!"

    Another successful week? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well you might well ask.
    If you'd have asked yesterday afternoon I might well have cried and then kicked the photocopier to death. Yes, yesterday was the day I did the job I'd been putting off...the one official letter to some of our owners.....a letter on letter headed paper.
    Simple task......hmmmmmmmm:eek:
    5 hours later, having fed the paper in the machine 6 different ways I gave up. Gave it to someone in reception who started with "I can't remember how mail merge works" and then produced a perfect letter literally 20 minutes later. That printer hates me - I'm convinced of it.

    Well have worked the budget out and booked my treat for this month, a flight to Munich in April to meet up with friends. Excited? Just a bit.

    The landlady popped round yesterday and left a polite notice about cleaning (which to be fair is not the greatest and I need to put up a new rota this week - have it in my bag for work! I got sick of being the only person cleaning) Can't decide whether to stick it up with a section out of the 'Law of the Landlord and the tenant' principally the section on Quiet Enjoyment and the requirement to give notice before popping round. An implied covenant no less which puts it above any subsequent laws.

    So entertainment allowance for this week - heavy. Will need to be significant NSD's towards the end of this month.
    Yesterday - 12 years a slave - 'very good, fairly gruelling in places, take your kleenex'
    Tomorrow - 'The Railway Man'
    Monday - Salsa (a new thing off the list!)
    Tuesday - Book club
    Wed - Sign language and pub quiz
    Thurs - rest
