Road Rage - not my fault... I think!

I have to admit - I love to wind up nasty people like these when I have the misfortune of meeting them on the road.

I love the fact that so often they are really aggressive or rude but too dumb to realise the person they're doing it to is in the position to mess them around more...

Perfect example is tailgaters.... When someone is really aggressive and nearly ramming me off the road on a dual-carriageway or motorway, funnily my speed suddenly matches that of the inside car - for several miles. Ha ha!

I've had similar things as above happen in supermarkets... Recently, in an 80% empty car park I had someone beep at me to hurry up and get out of 'their' space (it was light rain and I was near to the entrance). I was on my motorcycle and, much to their annoyance, spent ages putting my gloves on etc. Of course, had to let the engine warm up to. They finally got p'd off enough to move on (all on 50 meters). Funnily enough, I was ready to leave at this point!

If it was me in the supermarket with the VW van, I'd have said: 'OK, sure I'll move!'. Fumbled with my keys a bit, waste some of their time.... Reverse about 4 inches or so... and then switch of the engine. TROLLOLOLOLOLOL!

You are part of the problem not part of the solution, sheite happens live with it but don't react to it in that way.

Remember the scene in the old clint eastwood movie when the truck ran over the line of bikes?????:eek::eek::T:T:T

    Take care.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    Haha! Whatever...

Nasty, horrible, aggressive road users are the problem. I refuse to let them get me stressed and ruin my day. I treat road users who behave like that just like a toddler having a tantrum - stand back, let them blow it out, and have a good laugh.

People like this want to bully and harass innocent people, and I'll be damned if they'll do it to me. They make themselves look like right t*ts and I just sit back and enjoy the show.

It sounds like they do stress you and ruin your day. Else you wouldn't feel the need to post about it.

pacific, I hope you're not floating around in the outside lane of dual carriageways and motorways, because that's bad driving, and if someone does fly up behind you, you should move over.

The OP should chill out and not take things to heart as others have said.

However, it is not quite clear here what happened. The OP said that the van driver wanted him to move forward.

Was the OP able to do that and thus give the van driver a space to park his van?

You may be still anrgy about this incident, but maybe you should punch a few cuhions or something rather than take out on posters here.

I'm glad I'm not the only person here who gets annoyed by that.

I can only remember one post on here where somebody got mine right.

Get a dashboard camera!!! £20-£30 on ebay, i have one front and rear. they are plugged into the front and rear car power sockets, turn on and start recording when you turn the ignition on, turn off when you turn the ignition off. Both have rechargeable batteries, You put an SD memory card in and they loop record in 15 minutes segments, then overwrite the oldest file, so you dont have to worry about the card getting full. They also have infrared light which come son automatically. Search ebay for "dashboard camera"

    Absolutely brilliant devices!!

You can also get apps for Android (and presumably other phone OSes) that do the same job if you have a suitable windscreen mount that allows the camera to poke through.

I know Strider590 used to regularly post videos from his camera showing examples of bad driving. They used to stir up quite a bit of debate on this forum. ;)

Maybe a clue in the username would help??

Some girls are tomboys, some boys are sissys. without offence:D:D

You know what I mean, you can't tell from a genderless internet identity.

Call yourself randy lill or sexy simon and you won't have the problem, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Which is why I've never bothered to pull anyone up over it.
The avatar might also be a clue though.
