Just wanted to know if it was the straw that broke the camels back or if I was justified in my annoyance really!
Parked up ready to go and get a take away. Reasonably busy road, and one parking space I could fit into. So in I go. Go and buy the take away. I get in the car and my partner walks off to the shop to get some drinks. All of a sudden, a van pulls up right close next to the passenger side with this woman beeping her horn like mad. I let my widow down and asked her what was wrong (I had been sat in the car maybe 1 minute at this point!)
She said 'you need to move, there's not enough room for my van to fit in here'
I bit my tongue, and calmly said that I would be a few more minutes as my partner had just nipped in the shop. Why should I have to drive around the block so she can park?!
She then swore and verbally abused me calling me various names. Still so close to my car.
I was sat waiting and said 'I don't want to talk to you anymore!' and would my window up. I really didn't want to get in a phblic argument with this vile woman.
She continued to beep, and I just ignored her. While waiting, a car in front of me moved out. She could of fit in there. She then proceeded to hold her horn down!! I opened my window and pointed out the space that was now available.
I may aswell of spat in her face! She was screaming at me to move forward and get out of the way like a banshee swearing at me. I must admit, I gave a bit of gob back at this point. I was fuming that someone thought they could bully me like that!!
My partner arrived back and got in the car, to which she said some further abusive comments. He then just said 'ignore her... Let's go!' and I drove off.
I had to come back around the other side of the road, and she just sat in her van staring at me.
I'm just reaching the end of my patience with these 'this is MY road drivers'
I've found myself becoming more selfish too, as I'm getting to a point where if nobody else is flippin' considerate, why should I be! I am trying though.
Today I saw a 20ish yr old lad in a blue MG ZR push into a funeral precession and beep to make them get out of the way!!
What would you of done in this situation? I'm aware that they could just get out and beat me up. Not everyone's just all mouth, but I've never been so close to totally losing it before! She was just so rude!!

a few weeks ago i was parked in asda carpark, the missus and three kids had gone in, i wasnt feeling upto going into such a crowded place (MH PROBLEMS) so decided i would sit in the car (for some reason i bought a ticket that day wel OH did) 10 mins had passed, when there was a knock on my rear window, a woman had pulled behind me in a VW tranproter got out and knocked my rear window then came round to my window.
i wound it down, and the first thing she said was where your kids then or are you just parked here for the F-ing fun of it blocking a mum and baby space, i said my kids are with mum inside, she cut me off saying well ive been waiting for THIS space for 10 mins while the other car left F-OFF and get out of MY SPACE, i said to her stop swearing at me, its not YOUR space, you didnt wait for anyone to move out the space as it was empty when i pulled up here, and you were no where to be seen, so if you asking me to move out of it for you then NO IM NOT, i wound the window back up, she stormed off came back with a asda trolly boy, she knocked the window and i refused to acknowladge her, so the trolly boy asked me to open the window a second, so i did, he said that the lady had told him i had no reason to be parked where i was, i said three kids under 12 by your terms and conditions of parking i my right to park here, and heres my ticket if she's told you i didnt have one, and no i didnt pinch her space it was empty and she wasnt anywhere near it when i pulled in it, the guy gob opened wide he turned to her and said theres nothing we can do park elese where he has a right to be there, she started shoulting all sorts at me and this trolly guy, by this time my OH came back with the kids, my OH loaded up and as soon as the kids were in the back, this woman started on the OH, shouting and swearing at her, i popped my head out and told her to watch her mouth with the kids around, and not to talk to my OH like that, by this time i'd had enough and said to her to get her van out the way so i can leave, the missus took the trolly back, and this woman just sat there swearing all the way calling us allsorts, she moved back for me to get out (never mind that she also blocked a woman and newborn in next to me too while she had a rant), i moved out and as i did she moved closer to me so i went back in the space got out and told her to reverse further down and not come any closer to my car, she told me to stick my car up my OH FAT backside, asda had called police by this time, and they were right behind her uknown to her she still screaming and effing and blinding while a copper walks towards us, the look on her face was priceless and he said to her, move you car to the empty space at the bottom of the car park i want to have a word the officer turned to me and said, now you can leave in peace sir.0 -
Maybe in these situations it might be a good idea to just get your phone out and start filming, the prospect of humiliating themselves on youtube might be enough to get scum like these to think again.0
