We have decided to throw a fancy dress halloween party...if you're not in fancy dress then you ain't comin in!
But we need some ideas, for decorating, costumes, food/drink and costumes! So can we get our OS thinking caps on for this????
One good trick we may have up our sleeve is that a friend is an undertaker and he is going to see if he could get us a coffin! Eek hehe

eeek, very creepy, it d be cool if you can get that...
well, for cheap halloween what springs to mind are shops like poundland or rightprice... you can bag quite a lot of stuff there.
As for costumes, the cheapest I can think of is a zombie one... Charcoal on face, a bit of fake blood and lots of old rags torn in shreds (you know the kind of stuff you keep for gardening or painting).
Good luck with your party!"Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye

Blow up a baloon tie a piece of string round the top. Cover with a white sheet. Stick on black eyes and pin to the ceiling. :eek:A ghost £2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Oh wow!!!!
Fay that sounds great!! Can i come?!
This is the child in me coming out...!!
My parents were a bit odd when i was younger, wasnt allowed to celebrate halloween or go trick or treating, so now i love it and want to dress up and have loads of sweets ready for any kids in my street that come knocking!
Actually, this is one time i wish i lived in America coz they go crazy at halloween!!
Right, anyways, back on track for your question!!!! Buy loads of cheap rubber spiders from kids shops and hang the randomly from black string around your house.

Draw some scary ghosts/ghouls and cut them out and stick them on your walls.
Have you got anhy dark red material or any dark colour? Drape it over your furniture and walls.
Buy a red light bulb (quite cheap from asda, i saw some yesterday!) and put it in your main light in your lounge.
Uuumm, i am still thinking!! Oh oh oh, make some cookies and dye them red!
Cut sandwhichs out in the shape of bats?
Make a red cocktail? And get some fake eyesballs and float them in the punch bowl!!:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0 -

Some very nice people HERE at Signature Central make them. You just chose the design/style from various makers, say what text you require and post your request......all free! You just check back on the site to collect them.....takes a couple of days usually. All done just cos the people enjoy making them...brilliant!
Ooops sorry Fay...off topic...but it's squeaks' fault!♥♥♥ Genius - 1% inspiration and 99% doing what your mother told you. ♥♥♥0 -

Serve...Bloody Marys, Cranberry juice.
Maggot soup...Pumpkin soup with maggot shaped pasta.
Meringue Bones... Meringue piped into bone shapes.
Witches hands with blood.......Yorkshire puddings with chipolata sausages drizzled with tomato sauce.
Witch's broomstick...Tie twigglets round the end of a bread stick.
Green slim icing...icing sugar, water, almont essence, green food colouring and egg whites to keep the icing soft.
Creepy crawlies...made with fondant icing or marzipan.
Just spotted a real cobweb in the corner you have that if you want. :rotfl:£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
