Overall, Great holiday, had a great time, great suites, great cars, no burning of the skin, just burning of my !!!, stomach and throat! :D:D
And best part, as its only flights we have to pay for, its a cheap holiday for us! I probably missed off some detail, but if I remember stuff, I will add it in!!

Here are some of the videos I took when I was winning on the slots!

    hi

and thanks for the very very detailed trip report StuieUK34!!..yours is one of the ones i always look forward to ... i guess a large part of it is to try get some tips on how to wheel and deal and see how you do in getting some barging!! and I always route for you when you try to get sometihng bigger/better weather its the car or hotel suite and go *heck ye* if you succeed in doing so :j

Did british airways do anything for you due to the terriable luggage situation? you should be making some sorta complaint (unless you have done so already). Just it could have ruined your hoilday n what not !!

And well done in getting top tier in regards the Mlife status..though does this reset by a certain date? i mean it would be handy for you if you are going next year to be the top teir.

thanks again for the detailed trip report and kind regards !!

BA = they don't care about customers (economy ones)..... so complaining gets me nowhere.. For future flights, i'll just fly to LA instead and drive to Vegas, as the planes are better! (A380).

No hard rule to wheelin n dealing, I just try my luck with a cheeky smile and sometimes it works! :D

Mlife = Tier credits reset to 0 on the 1st October of each year. Your status drops levels too. Mine is good until Sep 2019, but as i plan to do another road trip to Vegas in September this year, and will do our main holiday in June next year to Vegas, then i'll be doing a stag bash in Vegas in March 2020, along with our yearly holiday to Vegas in 2020, my status will always stay Platinum...

However, Platinum to me = gives me parking in the reserved spaces, doesn't have any other benefits that i need! :D
Hotel offers will come no matter what your tier status is, and the Hosts i can use only care about what i spend rather than status! :)

Winning is nice in Vegas, but Sunshine, Cars & Big Rooms, and super nice BBQ ribs are the only things that i aim for!! :D

    loving the engine !!!!!!.......
we are heading back in sept. As i gamble nowehere near as much as you guys, we are looking at myvegas comps for hotel rooms. last year we did 3 nights in the mirage, which I really liked, but they don't seem to have anything for 2 nights other than mgm signature and mgm park (still a bit broken so walkgin off strip is not ideal so kinda discounted the signature) what did you think to the park? as we would be going in sept, I presume a lot of the building wrok will be done by then ( loads says finished in fall) looks very nice from your pics.
    saving for more holidays

Having recently become a fan of uber, how does it work in Vegas? Surely they don't just pull up by the taxi rank at the front of the casino?

Most casinos and hotels have signs up for "ride share" that's where the Uber cars will pull into. The wifi normally works out to that area as well so you can see the car pulling in on the app.

As Stew68 says, usually well sign posted for uber outside of the hotels. If in doubt ask a member of staff inside casino, they should be able to advise.

Make sure you try Lyft as well as Uber....we have used both the last couple of visits, and Lyft tends to come out cheaper in most cases.
Plus you can usually get promo code discounts for new sign up.

Wynn charged for parking in March this year when we stayed there, I have feeling it was introduced around that time

edit, Wynn started charging in Aug last year

Wow, they never charged us for Valet when we pulled up in April this year. Maybe the valets have their own system, " we charge the proper price and receive zero tip, or we let them park and get the customary tip on delivering the car"
Vegas Valets have their own rules ;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
