Can someone please explain to me what a max bet is as opposed to a normal bet?

minimum bet is the minimum amount, and max is the maximum ! :D:D:D:D:D
If a slot machine says minimum 50c per spin, upto max $5 a spin, and win value is 10 credits per bet amount if u win 3 cherries, you win more per your bet...
There is no normal bet...!!! Bet is what you bet.
Bet more, and don't win = u lose lots, just as I did (trip report) :)
But if u pull off a win, sometimes its good! :D

Thanks Stu, I wasn't sure if it was that or if it meant if you stick a $100 bill in a machine and pressed max bet then it would spin the $100 in one go :D
Amazing trip review by the way

Hi - can anyone help with a rewards question? The hotel reward say one night reward per person, per trip - what do they class as a trip? We're flying to vegas for a few days and then onto Utah for the weekend then back to vegas. Is there a specific length of time between when you can book again with a reward?
It aint over til I've done singing....

If you put a $100 bill in and the machine is a$1 machine with 100 lines then max bet would indeed spend your $100 in one spin

There are also multi denomination machines so you could be spinning 1c,2c ,5c or more per line , just be careful before you press the button

You can only use each reward once in 30 days

    Wooooooooohooooooooooooooo !!
Going back to the US in 2 months!
I built up a good stash of Virgin airmiles over the past 17 months, and although picking Vegas next year in June = plenty of choice...
Picking anything for mid September = limited! (like LON - SFO , then LAX - LON) !!!8230;.

So plan I am looking at now (will be a Road trip with my Dad again), is flying into Vegas on the Saturday, then hitting the road straight away upto the US 95 (ET Highway / Area 51)!!!8230;..
Guessing there is nowt to see, but another road off the bucket list...
Plan is to get to some remote town called Tonopath (I think), stay in some motel, then hit the road and head north west upto Mammoth Lake (Mammoth Mountain) which is where we stayed for 1 night last year, and then following day head back to Vegas! 8 night trip, so 3 nights on the road (round circle I guess) and then 5 nights in Vegas! :):):)
As usual, on a Budget! So using airmiles, target is 60k airmiles for both and max £600 in taxes/fees for both! :D

Tonopah is a dump. First time we drove to Reno, we were planning to stay there overnight. Took one look at the place and carried on all the way to Reno.

They do have a clown motel there. It looks quite creepy.

    hi
unsure if it helps much but there is alot of youtube videos on area 51 stuff n what not, prehaps something you can look up?.There is a town called rachel which may have a motel kinda thing. Also any motion of camping- im sure there are some camp bases prehaps?
There is a mountain range in which you can climb up (the name escapes me) and well I do believe it is the ONLY point you can see a part of area 51 but AFAIK it is a mega trek to get to .

In our last trip in vegas my brother and I are pretty sure we saw a *janet* flight in the air! (this is a white plane with some red in it and takes employees to area 51)

hope this helps and all the best
