On the subject of buffets...Does anyone know when the rewards on myvegas are refreshed each day ?
Last time we got them it was somewhere around 3pm each day.
Im after the 2 x Aria Buffet, we are within the redemption period now and so far its always sold out.Would imagine it doesnt last long before its gone.0 -
No you are not on your own
we love it, its our fav, but its bloody expensive, we stayed 3 nights a few months ago with 2 free buffets per day, think that was worth around $110 a night
Mr Dontone loves it there too. We went on his birthday once (they gave us a free buffet each because of it) and it was Sunday - seafood & pasta day. He got rather greedy, and over podged himself on pasta, and had to go and lie down with belly ache for about 4 hours. I ended up pottering around the casino on my own (not that I minded)
The last one we went to was a Paris, and I thought it was rubbish. I wanted some beef and it was that 'rare' it was basically still alive. Some folk were complaining about it. It was awful.
I'm not really bothered about buffets tbh. I do think that a lot of them are a waste of money. I'd rather go to a restaurant or a food court for a fraction of the price.BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

We have three nights booked in Vegas in September at the end of 14 day trip starting in Denver driving through Utah and staying at the grand canyon on the way.
Which hotels would you recommend? It's our 10th wedding anniversary so I'd like something nice but don't want to end up too far away from the centre.
I've been playing myvegas and have 20k coins so far - is it worth playing?
What would you say is a "must see"? We're not gamblers!“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Depending on your budget consider The Venetian, Aria or the Bellagio.
To be honest you can find some of the world's best hotels in Vegas at a reasonable price (before they add on the daily resort fees).
Even if you are not a gambler IMO you might just want to try your luck one time (just in case you win big!)
I have been playing MyVegas for years and have had numerous rewards such as freeplay, free or 2-1 buffets and credits toward restaurant bills.
Things you must see - who knows it will be different for everybody - the free Bellagio fountains might be a good place to start.
Enjoy whatever you decide to do.0 -
Phillippa36, you cant go wrong with the three suggestions, there are numerous others in the same quality range i.e. Wynn, Cosmopolitan and Palazzo.
Even with 20k gold coins you can still get buffet rewards or half price show tix for example so as you have a trip planned it is worth it IMO. To maximise your chances of gaining coins sign up to the various mobile games and the PC version, so you can have 5 games accumulating points. Play or refresh daily to get your bonus.0 -
Thanks both, I booked the Mirage originally and then cancelled that and booked the Venetian but there's always another email and another offer constantly coming in that I wanted confirmation that the Venetian was a good one!
I am sure we'll waste a little cash but I'm looking forward to just being there!“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

We have stayed in Wynn & the Venetian, and must say that the Venetian, er, wins.
Only because the $20 trick worked beautifully, and there isn't a nightclub situated below the rooms. The Wynn has one and we were on the 34th floor and could hear it.
Bellagio fountains is a must, as is Fremont Street (have a go on the zipline if you dare). Having said that, you are there for 3 days, so just have a potter up and down the Strip, there is plenty to see just wandering round all the casinos & the shops. You must wander round Caesars Palace, it's amazing.
