in Italy we drink a hot chocolate that is thick , almost like a pudding, very yummy. For each person stir a heaped teaspoon (or more if you like) cocoa with a little sugar or sweetener and approx. half teaspoon corn or potato starch into a cup of milk, ]
Niki - what potato or corn starch do you use?0 -
I love Nestle Milo - it is a malted chocolate drink. Can be drunk with hot or cold milk, hor or cold water, or 1/2 and 1/2.
MmmmmmSave the earth, it's the only planet with chocolate!0 -
Iceland do their own make which you add to milk and can drink hot or cold which is lovely and Cadbury IMO is the best instant one (no milk needed).2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

I found some dark chocolate and gently boiled it with some milk in a saucepan. I put in a bit of Lidl 'Baileys', topped with whipped cream or marshmallows. It was heaven.
I imagine brandy would be good too.
One thing I really miss in the UK is the bottled shake you get in Spain, I think it is batado cacao - sheer creamy heaven, have never been able to recreate it here. You can have it cold or heated. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
