I have used SVP a couple of times and had no problems at all. Discs have been cheap and arrived promptly.
Now the Royal Mail... that's another experience altogether.0 -
SVP are fantastic. Enough said. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0

I know Cos has now said that it was mostly a problem with Royal Mail & SVP have looked into (& resolved?) the matter but I nearly choked on my weetabix when I saw their name in this forum!
I've used SVP for the last 2 years & have not had a single problem, issue or quibble. I haven't ever paid for their super fast delivery as I always find that their normal delivery is really fast anyway
Their prices are brilliant & I have mailed them a couple of times & they were amazingly prompt & friendly. They even replied on a Saturday night to an email I had sent on the Saturday afternoon!
If any potential customers of SVP are reading this & thinking ohh dodgy company I won't bother, then please don't think that way!
SVP gets 3 Golden Gloves from me ;D (having spent probably over £600 with them over the last 2 years & not a single issue I think they warrant the golden gloves).Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

After being delivered used goods from SVP for the second time I have finally stopped using them, the first item I recieved was quite clearly used as it had all scratches over it and the second one was exactly the same, I have had two pioneer 107`s off them in recent weeks also which have now just given up and dont write anymore, five boxes of dvd cases that were the wrong colour and get this 7 emails that went unreplied at my subject of exchanging my used goods that I had been sent out, there excuse was that they were understaffed. From a company that I spend just over 300 quid a week with I`m not impressed hence I have taken my trade elsewhere. For all of you that just buy blank dvds and cases from these places try these, they have 4x verbatims (best brand bar none) for £10 for 25 or traxdata for 40p per disk

also if you have a cdr-epublic near you they are now selling thier 4x dvd-r`s for 7.99, which is amazing being as they were 14.99 about weeks ago, they use super azo dye, which I know nothing about but I just know that I have never ever had one fail, they are the muts nuts. I have never had a problem with SVP. My latest order was placed with them two days ago and it has just been delivered. I only opted for the cheapest delivery as well, quoted delivery time was 2-4 days .so i am well chuffed. All items present and correct. Maybe some people have more luck than others0

I mentioned SVP on another thread due to delivery problems and because of my complaints to the company I received a phone call from SVP'S Owner recently on a Saturday night. We discussed the issues of which I and other customers were facing and was assured that improvments would be made.
Alot of the problems came about due to Royal Mails 24 hour service of which they do not gaurantee and the Track and Trace information is not conclusive according to Royal Mails customer service.
I agree that SVP is an excellent company selling products cheaper than most companies with a great customer service, its a great shame Royal Mail and City link lets them down by not delivering.Rememember. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance. And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when, You might need them to empty your bedpan.0 -
Again in their defence - have used them twice. Ordered over the weekend, goods arrived (at my parents as I knew I wouldnt be in!) on the Tuesday! used normal delivery and was great. Fantastic prices (Got a decent blank dvd and a case for 40p! - Ok I had to buy 100 to get that!) they also have great email offers such as free delivery, 99p delivery or lucky dip gift!
they seem like company that care, with character - which is good to know! long may they reign!Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
I have also used this company and I must say I havnt had any problems at all. Good for everthing.0

Its a shame you have had problems with SVP. I have ordered from them for years. I know loads of other guys from another forum where SVP reside on there, and they have always been helpful to them. You can use SVP site and send them a E-Note I have done that a few times now usually to ask a question and they reply that day even in the wee hours.
Steve from SVP has always been nothing but a reasonable guy in my book. Hope you get sorted.
I know they have had problems in the past with couriers most companies have, however the courier that I get is always helpful and often spend 5-10 minutes chatting to him. I personnaly wouldnt pick Royal Mail under the courier option as I had 15 years of experince working with them cowboys. It aint most postmen its the management that are worse than useless, spend most of thee time drinking coffee out fo the machine and pretending to be a boss but in reality there just an @rsehole.
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0
