SVP are great- Royal Mail are crap - THATS A FACT!
Many a time Royal Mail have left signed for parcels for us on the doorstep! Anyone could nick them.
My experience of SVP is only positive - never had any problems with items from them and Bulkpaq CD's and DVD's have never failed for me (not a single one!).0 -

I am sick and tired of the Royal Mail leaving packages on my doorstep in full view of the pavement. If it ever happens whilst I'm away, it's almost guaranteed that the items won't be there when I get back. I'm sure all postmen do it, with management turning a blind eye. It should be viewed as seriously as if they gave packages away to their friends or threw your valuable delivery over a hedge en-route to lighten their load. What can be done?0 -
Royal Mail (specifically, others seem ok), tend to not bother ringing the doorbell and jsut post a "you were out" card through the box. Numerous tmies I've missed deleiveries and discovered a card despite being in. I think they just pre-write them now and don't bother trying to deliver the goods...0

I made my first order with SVP a couple of months ago and they had sent me incorrect speed DVD+Rs (4X instead of 8X). I emailed them and they responded the same afternoon asking for a convenient day that they could arrange redelivery, of the correct media, and pickup of the ones that I had.
The correct discs arrived as promised and I thought that was that.
A couple of days after I received the correct ones they’d sent me another set. I emailed them indicating their error and they arranged for these to be collected and thanked me for my honesty.
In my opinion they handled themselves admirably in this matter. The responses to my emails were polite and prompt, and the problems were resolved to my satisfaction.
I’d quite happily do business with them again.
Like all mail order/internet companies they are usually at the mercy of the courier company that they use. More often than not it is this that lets them down. Whenever I place a first order with such place I do try to find out which courier they use as I’ve had problems with some of them in the past. If you are dissatisfied with a courier company you should let the company you are ordering from know otherwise they’d be none the wiser.0 -
