Becky1236,Tiara and Skibster I agree, should strive for next Saturday then if anyone has difficulty in meeting this date just let nettienoo know ~ skibster good one about the name as I would have forgot!!
nettienoo, Thanks for doing this, if you need any assistance let me know

Jill - I am so so sorry to hear your news. I haven't been able to post as I couldn't find words. I know that nothing we can say will ease the pain, but please know that you are surrounded by love and support. Your little man is at rest, sleeping with the angels in heaven. There is no more pain for him. XX

Thanks again NEttienoo - I agree that it's a good idea to set a cut off date, but let's not forget that Nettienoo will need to allow the cheques to clear before writing the next cheque.

I agree we do need a cut off date, but we also need to make sure that everything that is sent does get passed on to Jill.
I'm not sure of the scale of this but perhaps Nettienoo could kindly make a list of the people she has received donations from? Or send a pm maybe? I posted mine today but only had a second class stamp so it may take a while
Maybe we can send a cheque for all monies received by Saturday, and then maybe do another cheque a little while later if there are any stragglers??
What do people think? It's really up to Nettienoo as she is the one kindly taking the time to organise it!
    DONATIONS

Thanks Tiara. Can I also just add for anyone who hasn't managed to read all the pages that it is nettienoo70 user_offline.gif who is organising the donations.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to Jill and her family, please send a PM to nettinoo for the address where you can send your cheque/P.O. etc. Some people have mistakenly been contacting me about donations. Thanks
again everyone for being so caring.

Edit... Apologies to those I haven't replied to by PM yet I have had so many, really sorry.

    Dear Jill,
Words cannot express how sorry I am about little Thomas. I hope that the love you are being sent is going a little way to providing some comfort you at this time.
Someone I know lost a child recently and she sent me this poem to offer you :

    [SIZE=+1]Why God Takes Little Children

    When God calls little children
    to dwell with Him above,
    We mortals sometimes question
    the wisdom of His love.

    For no heartache compares with,
the death of one small child.
Who does so much to make our world,
    seem so wonderful and mild.

    Perhaps God tires of calling
    the aged to His fold.
    So He picks a rosebud
    before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few.
To make the land of heaven
    more beautiful to view.

    Believing this is difficult
    still somehow we must try.
    The saddest word mankind knows
    will always be Good-bye.

So when a little child departs,
    we who are left behind,
    Must realize God loves children.
    ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND!

I think thats a good idea... Letting us know when she's received it. Maybe a list on the board that could just be updated by her would be the easiest, instead on her sending many messages.. and then if they reply, replying again which could take a long time iynwim.

Thanks again nettienoo :T Mine will be in the post next mon/tues :):)
