Tried my dress on yesterday with shoes and undies and everything...and its too small! Not just a little bit, its four inches too narrow at the back! EEK! Does this mean I cant eat for 8 weeks?
Phoned the dress shop and they can't fit me in for 2 weeks so Im going to cry miserably til I know it will be ok...sniff!

Argh! How long have you had the dress? Did it fit when you bought it? Could you try it with different underwear (spanx)?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I had a bridesmaid dress a couple of years ago that wouldn't even remotely do up at the back - I went to m&s and bought one of those all in one body stocking things (sorry can't remember the name of them).
The women in the dress shop couldn't believe what a difference it made and had everyone in the shop come and look at me in the dress before and after (which was quite embarrassing!!)
You will probably lose a bit of weight between now and then anyway but these really really help!!
Good luck x0 -
Hi,
I was also going to suggest some M&S undies. They are completely wonderful!
The other thing I would suggest is going to Weight Watchers or Slimming World. Particularly WW though as they have special program for the first couple of weeks to lose weight fast (sorry can't remember what it's called).
I'm sure you'll be fine, the stress will get the weight falling off soon!

did you buy/ order the wrong size or have you gained weight.
four inches is quite a lot isnt it.
two dress sizes i think.
id definitely go the WW route. quick start is the thing to get you going.
8 weeks is plenty of time to get that dress on - you go girl xx0 -
this is my nightmare, hope you sort it, putting in a lace up back seems like a good idea0

I am having nightmares about this too already!I am sure the fitting in 2 weeks will get it sorted for you. Please try not to worry too much, you do have time to sort it.I like the lace up back idea too."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Well if you need a drastic dieting solution - I'd try Cambridge or lighter life.
I know some people will think this is not a good suggestion - but if you can stick to it for a few weeks you'll fit into your dress no problems!
good luck

Poor you! Sending you all my sympathy! Don't worry the shop will be able to sort it out in time I am sure.Lydia

Thanks everyone, feelin better now!
Its a lace up back so the shop should be able to do something with it. I bought it a year ago but im the same weight so i must have spread in different places! Im off to m&s for some new undies, and then the diet.... XWith Sparkles! :happylove And Shiny Things!0
