a whole £1.12 paid to me by Quidco!!!
Also saw that my shares had paid a £17 dividend so when both arrive in my bank account, I'll update my account.
I've got £40 tracking with Quidco at the moment.Pay off a Debt by Christmas 2008 Challenge: £1500 overdraftTotal paid off: £235Comping: July wins: The Who tribute band tickets (£24), MP3 download, Man Utd DVD (£17), Life's too F'ing short book (£13)0 -
Following a very generous quidco payment this month, I have just paid £200 to the egg card........however, at the same time they have slapped on £33 of interest, so my debt with them has only reduced by £167.
Still, it is all heading in the right direction!

Small overpayment has come off so I've updated
Next couple of months might be a bit slow from me, just changed jobs but due to the gap in employment will have very little income streched over next two months
I'll keep trying though! Well done everyone, keep at it xxx0 -
hi everyone :hello:
i was really desperate to get this debt down by the end of the year, but now i have a new job with a lot better income (from next month ill be getting exactly double what i am now, less a bit in child care which ive previously had for free- my dad!), my plans for debt repayment have changed, and im having to put what i owe my mum on the back burner, so we can get rid of some of the high interest debt.
my aim is to leave our 2nd jobs so by next march, so in order to do that we need to drastically reduce our outgoings- ie- pay off some debt!!!- so that my new wage increase covers what we earn monthly between us now in our 2nd jobs, plus leave us some spare to actually be comfortable off- which weve never had before.
so, i am going to re-think my plan if no body minds?we are in the mddle of putting some current debt onto new credit cards, with 0% for 13 months, so i will be sending the normal minimum payments what i have always budgeted for to the new 0% cards.
phew. money is so complicated!
i will update when ive worked out whats what!

I would like to join this challenge - I aim to pay off M&S and E by Christmas as a minimum. I'm using the snowball calculator to determine the order of the others however so am unlikely to pay off other individual cards....
