Hi clearmydebts!!
I will watch you with interest too! Maybe it will help us to know that someone else is monitoring our progress
I was just thinking this morning how I cannot wait to be sub £20K. That will be a great milestone. It should happen for me on the 1st Aug when my loan payments come out. How bout you?
I hope to be under 20k in September. My OH has been working during the summer so have extra cash but then he will be back to college so the payments won't be as much. Will be great to be under 20K though. Think it is a psychological thing!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi guys - I paid £220 extra to egg today, which brings my amount owing on that debt to £986......back in 3 figures :j I am therefore well on the way to getting it paid off in the next few weeks......then I might even try and get another one gone before Christmas.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Seeing your debt sub 10k will give you such a motivational lift for sure. It's like what Hypno said about her egg card being in 3 figures. Certain figures just seem more manageable don't they, like you can actually see a light at the end of the tunnel.
No overpayments for me this month as off on hols next week so spare pennies going there.
September will be a different matter though and I hope to come back from holiday with my new plan of action so watch out lolProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Woo hoo - sub £20K :j . Feel like I've reached a milestone. Now I'm aiming to be sub £15K, ideally before Christmas but that may be a bit unrealistic. We'll see!
It's not a payment for this challenge that has taken my to below £20k but I'm so excited I just had to share!
I have also made a small overpayment to the card for this challenge though and will update again when it clears.
In other news - I start a new, better paid job on Monday. I'm soooooooo nervous but am looking to the bigger picture of clearing this debt.
Happy weekend everyone
