Welcome to the thread, I will add you to the list. Is it the full £5k you are aiming to clear by Xmas?

I've got car and home insurance expiring late in August so I'll be hitting quidco big style next month to see how much I can get whilst trying to keep the premiums around the same as they are at the moment. Did a quick quote with Lloyds for home insurance and for £2 a month more than I'm on at the moment, I can have £120 cashback, but I'll look more in detail at them 2-3 weeks time.

Unfortunately though both tax and MOT run out on 31 July (gulp) god knows how I'm going to factor that in AND try to reduce the overdraft over the next few weeks!

Nekosuki - welcome to the thread I have added you to my list.

Garnettgirl - I got £100 cashback through Privilege when I renewed my insurance and they were half the premium I was paying to, saved myself £20 a month. They paid out within about two months as well.

We have car tax on one of our cars at the end of Aug. Hubbys car is one of the top ones too so costs a blinking small fortune

Thanks!! I'm going to throw the £20 a month saving on the car insurance at those beastly debts too.

Seems like there are a few of us having to buy road tax at the end of the month :(
I keep chipping away at my Tesco card here and there. Going to bank some coins I found in my car and around my house tomorrow and then transfer that to the card. Love this challenge :)
