Oh my god now he is accusing cavycrazy of libel! :rotfl:

cc, if he takes you to court, can we all come and watch please? ;)

I can see the headlines now:
Real life Victor Meldrew finally gets his day in court ... and loses!

Of course! I will publicise the date and venue and may even lay on a few sarnies! I just hope I'll be able to keep a straight face through my defence when the magistrate/judge asks what started it!

"Well, yer 'onour, it started when the plaintiiff declared himself unable to read T's and C's so decided to make them up as he went along". :D

as far as accusing read the line presented, with your "Legal experience and/or training" you should be able to tell us whether it is or not

Don't you have to prove financial loss to win a libel case?

Loss of face doesn't count! :rotfl:

Unless someone here was planning on hiring you to fit their car stereo, :rotfl:then I don't think you'd have much of a case!

cavy, what part of the "T&C's are entirely irrelevant here" don't you understand?
I figure you don't understand this because you keep bringing them up so often
I know it's extreme but if I were to mention the fact that polar bears were facing extinction as proving you wrong?? it's about the same level of relevance here
And FYI I am employed in a technical capacity so financial loss is quite possible because of your libel.

The part I don't understand is all of it!

For the financial loss from my statement, will all those who were planning on hiring mdbarber to fit their car stereo and have now decided not to as a direct result of my posts please step forward, forming an orderly queue to the left.

    Bit more ...
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    And just for luck ...

awww come on guys the trolldom round here is getting very second rate,
entirely irrelevant, uncreative and not even remotely funny. I'm disappointed!!
I've seen trained chimps that can do better than pasting in loads of smileys.

Anyway time to get on with preparation for the forth coming hearing(s).
After an interesting long talk with a very helpful and informative trading standards officer from Cambridge name of Jason, I feel much more informed and confident.
I am most impressed with the service those guys do, they are another sector that is grossly underfunded and I have nothing but respect for the workload they carry.
Anyway I believe in a very short time we shall have a lot more news for ya to troll on..
PS has there ever been a person sanctioned as a "vexatious litigant " for a single civil action? Surely not?
