Went to ASK today, used 2 for 1 voucher no problems.
Interesting point, the duty manager was telling other diners (when paying) we have a promotion, go to handbag.com for vouchers.
Said diner thought she was trying to sell her handbags and said, no I've got loads already, and was not impressed!:rotfl:
Trade must be slow if they are activley encouraging people to go get vouchers.0 -

Every week numerous media partners in the UK offer attractive vouchers, giving you the opportunity to purchase a voucher and check out well known restaurants in your area for half price!
(E.g. £40 food voucher for £20 (+P+P))
Good Luck!

i was going to go with 5 friends to Ask, however will we only get 1 meal free? couldn't read the terms and conditions of the voucher on the screen, so wasn't sure if it was worth bothering. Do they restrict to one voucher per table?0 -

Have just applied for a Hi-Life Diners Card via an e-mail received at work - have already used it several times and saved lots of money already ! Took the wife out for a free meal last Friday to The Living Room - all 3 of her courses were free ! The deal is 2 meals for the price of 1 and you can use the card at any of the restaurants in the book that you get when you sign up (100's) They've got a website www.hi-life.co.uk it's usually £39.95 for 12 months we were told to quote code SSO to get it for £32.950 -
There is a fantastic dining website called Sugarvine www.sugarvine.com. Here you can click on your region and browse dozens of special offers near where you live...it's fantastic! To find it you click on say Liverpool and then on Dining Deals in the navigation bar or in the central section of the site, and then select the day you want to eat, then you're inundated with dining offers. I use it all the time.0

The Post, in Banstead, Surrey is owned by celebrity chef Tony Tobin = it is £40 for a 'tasting' menu - wine starts at £95 !!!!!
BUT
on week nights they offer a set meal for £19.95 - it is fantastic, a real chance to have a very special meal for a special occasion.
The menu changes every Tuesday - and there are 3 choices per course - the wine starts at £18.00.
Not budget but really great value for that very special night. Enjoy0 -

Just wanted to say went to Strada last night with 2 for 1 offer and their service was fantastic.
I had the roast salmon with pancetta and it was lovely, my bf had the rib eye steak and apparently it was like old leather.
The waiter offered to do him a new one but because we were using the offer we didn't want to be too cheeky, but by the end of the meal, I was sick of him complaining to me so made him say something to the waiter. The waiter got the manager who said with the voucher they couldn't give a further discount but they took off the drinks from the bill and gave us complimentary limoncello. Woo hoo! :j
I was, as usual, annoyed that the service charge (of 12.5% - such inflation!) is added on the bill without asking, I prefer to give the amount plus extra in cash because the chef certainly didn't earn it last night, but the waiter and manager did!:T:heart2: Give blood. :female: Use a mooncup.
But ensure the two are not connected!0
