A calm down required on many peoples parts ...?0

I'll throw my "reason by bankruptcy" in as stated in my SOA:"In February 2008, the CSA imposed a deduction of earnings order upon me, increasing my monthly payments from £395 to £1100 per month. The additional £705 has had a serious impact on my ability to handle my existing debt.
My current take home pay consists of a basic salary and a once every five week payment for out "out of hours support". Essentially over a five month period I receive on average four monthly payments of £2282 and one monthly payment of £1922; an average of £2210 per month (this is after the CSA have taken their payment).
Due to cost cuts; I have been informed that my "out of hours support" payments will cease in March this year. As of March, my monthly take home pay will be £1922 (an effective reduction of £288 per month on my current take home pay). The effect of this will further reduce my surplus salary that could be used to pay my creditors; seriously impacting my ability to cope with my worsening financial situation.
With my increase in CSA payments and upon losing my "out of hours support" payments, I will find myself worst off by £993 per month than in January 2008.
I find myself extremely stressed by my current/forthcoming financial predicament to the point that it is seriously affecting my general well being, health and the quality of my work.
I have had several meetings with CAB and discussed the various options open to me. I have unfortunately come to the conclusion that bankruptcy is the only way forward. I have a letter from CAB in support of my decision for bankruptcy.
I am aware that bankruptcy will not affect my obligations to the CSA."0 -
erm..because they are not the ones asking 'Ive enjoyed all this spending but how can I get out of paying most (if not all) of it back?'
Altho I admit, not everyone post the reasons they have debt.
Can't say I've seen anyone post thatAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Sorry to sound harsh, but that the way I feel. I need to post my soa soon.
Sorry to sound `kind`....but if you needed help...irrespective of your opinion...we WOULD help you. I think that is the difference between us & other boards.
To be able to assist without judgement or criticism is a rare quality & I feel that the posters on other boards today have been terribly harsh towards us & very unfair.
To look beyond the `cause` & help another through their dispair to find a path through it ...giving their own time for free...are the qualities of a true samaritan.
Its not how we got here but where we go from here. I shall refer no more to this subject as I know that BR will become a way of life for so many.....& I find that very sad indeed that there are those who can only offer un-educated critcism.. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.
To all newbies reading this.....please don`t be put off....if you need advice then please post & don`t worry about the dissenters....you will have been through plenty enough to let a few disruptors upset you.

. And other idiots who are on repayment plans and still keep getting dodgy credit.
Imo- if you go bankrupt for a obscene amount, you deserve to lose your house, not to sign it over to the parents.
Sorry....is this not judgemental & cruel ??? I`m in a repayment plan....I have restructured debt....always within budget until illness !! Are you calling me an idiot then??? ...do I deserve to lose my house ??
According to you I am an idiot who clearly does deserve it!!
Please think before you post.

Look peka,
we get the point, you are !!!!!! off at BR's and other people on DMP's - the circumstances of the BR's and people on the DMP's really are not your concern.
you are a bit like a dog with a bone - you won't let go. Why? Has someone personally screwed you over leaving you with debt to repay and this is why you are so angry?
I think that everyone should just ignore anything further posted.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
ENOUGH ALREADY !!!!
another red triangle just to stop you is that what it takes.
these people you are upsetting are the very same people you may (will) need in the futureBsc no 224

So you got more debt while in this repayment plan? Thats what I say in the piece you quoted.
No...I have not taken anymore debt since my illness...in fact have tried tirelessly to repay some of it.
& BTW over many years I have fully repaid 2 mortgages & always covered my debt with payment protection. That protection however has exclusions....people need to realise that you cannot cover all eventualities.
Maybe if you need help you should start your own thread here or DFW...believe me even though you object to BR...if you take informed advice & there is no alternative then you will get support here.
