Morning.. well was a nice relaxing weekend, had a good walk Sunday afternoon and picked up three books for a fiver in bargain bookshop :)

Back at work and am harrassed already, just lots of little hassles.. and OH is in a really down mood which I feel a bit helpless about.

Nothing to report on the money front, looking like it should be a fairly cheap month - fingers crossed.

Glad you had a nice Sunday. Isn't that tough when the OH is down and you can't fix it? I used to make a conscious effort to not let it affect me, but how can it not, really, if they're the one you're with. AND you've got lots of mini-hassles at work - yuk, such a pain. Hope the afternoon is better. Can you go for a walk at lunchtime? Its *lovely* here today, can't believe it after the mega-meltdown yesterday.

You have been a busy, healthy little squizz today..

Sorry to hear your OH is down, hope you can get him out of it but try not to let it affect you too much.

Morning all! Bit better today, still lots of little hassles at work but a bit better today. I always go for a walk at lunchtime, have to get away from things for a bit! OH is a bit better today too, so that's good, I'd like for it not to affect me but it does, a lot.

Isn't it cold today? Apparently there's snow forecast for later in the week

Have spent £89 this morning.. eek.. my Eurostar tickets for Lille, coach down to London, and train ticket to parents' for Christmas (not booked return for that yet as still looking for a bargain!)

Not feeling very motivated with work today, it doesn't help that there's drilling going on outside our office, my desk is vibrating.... :rotfl:

Vibrating desks.... there's a new one!

I've spent £82.50 on a *debit* card for my Christmas trip - they charge £2.50 for a credit card transaction on trainline, which would be really annoying. At least I got a few pennies quidco too, which pays for the charge they still insist on making just to use the site.

    Hope you warm up soon!

Oops, forgot to go through Quidco for Eurostar, damn...

Have also got a ticket to free cinema preview tomorrow, might actually go this time depending how my day goes!

These charges are silly, it doesn't cost them that much to process a credit card. National Express charge 50p just for booking, what's the point in that, why don't they just make their ticket prices 50p more? For Christmas train tickets.. I got a single for £13.50 using that £5 off code from Great Western Trains that was in Martin's email the other week. Considering a return is usually nearly £90 that's not bad!!
