Well I had a lovely bacon roll for breakfast from local cafe (quite cheap too) - and got a few bits from Tesco for lunch and to keep at work for snacks, spent about a fiver.
Bloody bank haven't set up the standing order to transfer money to my debit card, which is a bit of a pain, will have to sort that out. Oops and realised a miscalculation in debt total, back to amend sig againDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Lots of signature updating today - have done some shopping, Home Bargains for toiletries and a few food bits and pieces and then Sainsburys for some food (mostly basics range and reduced so I don't think much more expensive than Tesco, will compare later).
Just realised only 1 month left of my little ten month challenge to raise debt minimum payments from extra bits and pieces, £379 short at the moment - mind you am not sure if I have actually paid that amount off debt or not, need to check spreadsheets tomorrow, got them saved on work PC.
Had steak and lots of veg for tea and am now drinking pink fizzy wine (Stowells, £3.49 in Home Bargains)

Hope those with a drink/night out have a great time! I'm stuck in, nursing the lurgy. Very tempted to nurse a glass of wine, I must say....
Red, the shopping sounds good - interested to hear of the olives, I must search them out, I love olives.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks all... I managed to sleep off the hangover this morning, having a quiet one tonight and the most exciting thing I've had to drink is hot chocolate!
Karma, I've never actually seen the Tesco value olives except online, the ones I bought were Crespo make which seem to be cheap everywhere. I love them too, especially green ones - yum!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Ooh - it's nice to be up early and clear-headed! Have been for a run this morning, really nice being out early when it's quiet apart from other runners and dog walkers. Back for breakfast, and am doing quite well with the fruit and veg - had about 10 portions yesterday, so far have had banana, tomatoes and mushrooms.. yum
Dunno what I'm doing for the rest of the day, I think I might not move very far for the next couple of hours....Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
