That whole Friends Reunited thing can feel very odd, can't it.... plans "magically" making your life better are a relief after that sort of thing.

I know what you mean about the cold/sore throat thing too - I think I've let myself get a bit cold, I can feel I'm fighting something off - I need the heat a bit higher. I've had the gas fire on, I think I'm going to give in tonight and put the central heating proper on.

Still, 11 hours is a long time to be in bed and still not feel right - keep on looking after yourself, but that might also mean a bit of a walk to stretch the cobwebs away.

Take care. I just can't call you a lazy cow, sorry ! :rotfl:

Yeah, these internet things have their uses but some things it would be better not to know. Ah well. I'm tempted to go and do a completely fictitious profile involving one or some of - a fantastic job/ a house in the Bahamas/ 8 children/ a sex change.. :rotfl:

Actually I've not been entirely lazy, I have walked to and from work every day this week due to lack of bus fares!

Hello squiz, my little furry friend!

I'll call you a lazy cow if it makes you happy.

Hope you are feeling better, sounds like a good excuse for a Duvet Day. Should we start a new thread the 'DFW Duvet Day,

Thanks Pepe! My favourite squirrel picture, this does look a bit like me when I got home last night, rained on and with a red nose!

Duvet day sounds fantastic - so much work on at the moment though that I'm not sure I'd enjoy it for worrying about when I got back (this doesn't stop me coming on here and rambling on, mind you.. although in my defense the system I'm using at work is very slow so I have to amuse myself between inputting ;) )

Snap young squizz..I am having difficulty talking at the moment so will have to amuse myself on here instead:D I am having a dressing gown day, all snuggly like..does that count?

    Aww thanks Pepe! :o

Bob, yes I think a dressing gown day counts, definitely. Hope you're ok.

Payday tomorrow - hooray - as well as the food shopping I need just about everything toiletries-wise, everything has run out at the same time. Looks like I'm having a quiet weekend apart from maybe drinks after work on Friday, depends if I can stay awake - so so tired tonight, worked late to finish some stuff off then walked home. Off for a bath in a mo and may go straight to bed, I could sleep right now!

The last time I had a salary, the internet didn't exist! Funny to think you can check it before you leave for work - after the shopping list you've been working out, hope you can get something tasty, and well done for lasting!
