In fact I've just ordered the book that one of the book clubs is doing in August so I can read it on my holidays. They've got a Facebook group as well so I might pop on there and 'say hello' later

Oh my goodness me...you've gone all healthy and mention of hols as well..norty Louise trying to tempt you and pah to the office folk and their crisps..you must get your own back with talk of hols at every available opportunity, and of course slides etc when you get back.

Slides? Ha, yep good plan.. and if they're faced with a big wobbly tummy then it'll all be their fault for tempting me with crisps and cakes.. :rotfl:

Had quite a productive evening, or at least steps in the right direction - contacted book group people, and a local walking group, and answered someone on a local forum who's looking for a running partner and lives very near me. Will see if anything comes of any of it!

sounds great, i need a reason to get out of the house more,so will look at my local groups as well....but on the walking side as would only wobble if i ran!

Moi??? RS sounds fine! I am fine too - with the extra focus today, I'm finding a few little niggles in the plan, and I hereby forgive myself for preserving my trading capital and not yet being a millionaire (sorry for the hijack, squirrel!). KC - yep I guess you need to make sure that there are no niggles, so I forgive you too though the suspense is terrible, I can't wait till you actually get stuck in there

Talking of going ahead with things, now I've made the first few steps to contacting people about groups etc, assuming they get back to me, I might need some nagging to actually go and do the things....
