That sounds fabulous, love that style! Man in uniform, eh?!
It looks like we're going to be about half and half dressed up and not.. oh well! Maybe I should go to my interview in mine.. might make an impression?! :rotfl:
You're right Karma, I think the ones who haven't bothered will feel left outDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Well, having psyched myself up to wear legwarmers, the other girl who's birthday it is, and the mastermind behind the whole 80s thing, is ill and not coming now... think we're still going out but am going to nip home after my interview and find something nice to wear instead!
Had two arguments with people at work this morning.. got really wound up and just afterwards got this weird sensation like tingling on the top of my head.. apparently it can be a sign of anxiety/ stress.. had it occasionally before, very strange :eek:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Ha - we have made an executive decision to do the fancy dress anyway. Have already looked silly today, went to look round building site where they're building our new building at work (too many 'buildings' there :rotfl:) and had to wear a hard hat and yellow jacket. Found it really interesting how they're purpose-building it and designing it round what each area's used for.. oh and there were some rather nice builders :cool:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

I seem to be rambling a lot today.. just been looking at cats for adoption on my local RSPCA page.. http://rspcasheffield.homeip.net/cgi-bin/makepage.py?menu=animalscode.dat&targetpage=animals/sheffield//Cat/2.dat .. I think I may give it some serious thought once I get back from holiday...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Yep I thought Fred & Shaggy were lovely - and Knuckles on the next page, looks like a cheeky little thing!
I even checked my lease the other night, it doesn't say 'no pets' but does say you have to get permission.. my landlady is generally good and laidback about stuff so hopefully..!!!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I would give her a call and ask then.
I love having animals about... I missed the other page so off for a look, check the Cats Protection, that's where we got ours from. They only ask for a donation not a set price as well.
We gave £40 for Bertie, which the woman was really chuffed with, but said that she had a little old lady take an old cat from them and all she could afford was some tins of cat food and that was fine.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

I'll check them out, there's a few different charities round here, so quite a bit to look at, I need to think about the budget as well, though am sure it would be manageable.
Time to go to interview (4.15pm on a Friday, how cruel) Catch you all later xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
