I've made a list for packing, but not done any actual packing yet! Yep had a great day/ night out, left work at 12 noon and got home at 5am... lovely time with OH and catching up with friends. Bit delicate today - not too hungover but very tired.
Just been out in garden and picked some spring onions and the biggest potatoes I've had so far.. mmm baked potato for tea I thinkDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Just been thinking that there hasn't been much money talk on here.. and that's kinda what we're all about isn't it? Doing fairly well with the low spend weeks, only spent just over a fiver last week on bus fares etc, and didn't spent too much yesterday.
Have to admit to having a small panic about the holiday - I have done OK at saving up and getting things cheap but not as well as I'd like, it'll be alright but can't be quite as relaxed as I'd like to be about spending, and I will have to be careful for a couple of months when I get back to pay back what I owe my mate for flights etc.
Extra money raising has been ticking over with bits and pieces but I seem to have lost momentum with it. Finding it hard to motivate myself to do half hour surveys for little reward.. but I really need to get back into all that in a serious way.
Not much else to say really! After lovely day yesterday am feeling a bit fed up and lonely today but I know a lot of that is tiredness making me feel wobbly (I saw the end of 'Junior' on TV earlier and cried when the babies were born, for heaven's sake). Off to look at naked skinny man on Bob's thread again to make up for missing my own skinny man...

Sounds like you have had a good time of it with the veggies.. I can always post a link for you to perv at pleasure if you wish? I think it is very MSE, as it saves us going out and spending money on frivolous things..like DT tickets for Hamlet..see i am being very good! *cough*Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks Wol.. I'll pop over to the Night Owls - wondered where everyone was with no Sat night party thread. Thankfully I'm just packing for holidays, it's poor Bubbles that's doing the house packing! I've moved house three times in the last three years, no rush to do that again!! Hope yours goes ok!
Bob - I have David in another window but I'd still love to see Hamlet.. it's a cultural experience after allDon't go to theatre very often but I did see Equus with Simon Callow (fantastic actor) and Alfie Allen (naked) earlier this year.
