Hello! x Yeah I feel much better around other people (even if it's 'virtually'), takes my mind off things.. very different story when I'm on my own.

I live on my own... OH has kids and a nightmare ex, which is part of the reason I don't see enough of him - obviously don't resent the kids but ex still manages to bully him, be demanding and make life hard. Am not in too much of a rush to 'settle down', though I would happily live with him and we have talked about it, I can't see it happening any time soon, still too much chaos surrounding everything.

Yep you're right have other stuff to focus on, and trying to find more of it.. being busy seems to suit me, and I haven't been busy at work or outside it for ages.

Oops, was going to bed a while back, better head off if I'm going to have any chance at this early rising thing... night night! x

Well I managed to get up at 7.30, not too bad, wish I could be one of these people who bounces out of bed at 6am! Anyway, off to work, hope everyone has a good day x

    Thanks Doodle!

I can score one off my 'July' list of things to do today -
    - finish online course I've been doing with BT Adult Learning Centre and get certificate printed out for that - tis done! Can't decide whether to sign up for something else with them or wait till I get back from holiday (they charge you by the month when you have a course active, are pretty cheap though)

To do today... start application form due in by Friday, look up website for dance/ yoga classes, play rounders if it's still sunny later, hoover livingroom and do dishes when I get home. Might even do some work as well... ;)

Hi redsquirrel! Glad you've got a diary of your own now - its exactly why I started one, to stop hijacking other people's, especially hypno's...

I like the sound of your language classes - your holiday will be lovely, and I do like to know a little bit of the language of the country I'm going to, even if its just please, thank you, and 1-10. I'm not great at going to new things on my own, either, to the state where I don't really have any local friends - all of them live at huge distances, I *really* have to make new local ones. And I got lists of classes from my local leisure centre too! Great minds, and all that....

Anyway, I'll stop hijacking *your* diary, and go find my own.... have a good one.

    Morning sweetie!

I like this diary of yours!

but i kinda feel the same as you used to about hijacking and posting my daily info onto other folks diaries..... I might start one after my holiday when i work on my DFD in earnest. (hoping for bonus from work after 1 year!!)

Rounders after work, that sounds ace!!!!!

Well done on completing the course!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

just wanted to pop on and say hi - you sounded on such a downer on your first post - things happen just think of how many things happen and change within a year of your life....thats how i look at things..

Karma, let me know how you get on with finding a class, I've forgotten the website of the one I looked at yesterday which I was most interested in - tried googling but no luck so will have to pop into the library again.

Maz, would love to read a diary of yours. When do you go on holiday?

Dotty, you are right.. it's funny though how a year can seem to pass so quickly but a night lying awake seems so long...

Not got much work to do so have done all the easy bits of application form, just the big statement bit to do now... it's a bit of a strange one this as a lot of the requirements are "the ability to understand" processes, procedures, regulations etc.. have to think about how to write about that...
