Morning all, thoughts for today...
1 - I was going to make Christmas cards, wasn't I? Not even started. Urgh...
2 - I have lost track of how much I've spent on groceries since last week. Sure I'm over budget though. Oops...
3 - My head feels like it's full of cotton wool. Yuck...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Hi all, don't worry Karma, I'm fine, not been on much as still no laptop at home! Cold seems to have passed quickly which is nice! As for OH he may turn up today but not heard from him yet and I'm not chasing him. In fact I got some vouchers in the post this morning so I'm off Christmas shopping! Have a good weekend everyone xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Morning.. oops, no, afternoon!
Just a quick update on the Christmas spends - got books for parents mostly with vouchers, a nice writing paper set for friend from cheapie shop for £2, and wooden puzzle thing for another friend for 99p. Decided I'm not going to get cards made so bought them for 99p as well.. spent £6.46 on Saturday, bring the total for presents to £11.15, and total including train fare to £24.65. Got parents some food bits in France but that came out of my holiday spends, so not looking too bad, just transport home and maybe another few bits and pieces to get.
Nothing else to report, still in limbo with relationship stuff as didn't get chance to talk.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Those are good Christmas spend totals! I spent £10 at Sun Bingo to get 5000 or so ipoints, and with the previous free ipoints, I can get £30 M&S vouchers, thats going to be a pressie for my sister and her husband. Done a few good deals at M&S online on various days, two thirds off .... can't think what else. I have quite a bit to do - have to do it on Saturday, I think thats looking busy, AND I haven't done cards and I said I'd do them in November ***KC wails loudly, to anyone who'll listen***
Seriously, sorry about the limbo situation - thats got to be difficult, not ending or knowing whats happening.

Hehe - me too Bob! Home Bargains had really nice wooden puzzle things (you know the ones you have to take apart then try to put together the same way but are really difficult!) which had RRP of £7.99 on them - they were marked £1.99 on the shelf but when I got to the till it was actually 99p! There was a lot of cr*p in there as well but I get an unhealthy amount of pleasure from finding things in these shops that really are goodDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Me too, especially for my nephews who have a habit of trashing stuff. Last year, i got glow in the dark dinosaur kits which were 99p each, they love them so much and have one of them on a stand..their nintendo DS stuff was broken by the end of Christmas:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
