*collapses heavily into a corner and looks up at everyone* Gah, just got in from work after a Monday I'd rather forget. Busy, busy, and public transport a nightmare as always. Got home at the same time as the OH though so that made me smile.
Getting up at 5:30am for work and not getting home til about 6pm is difficult, although I dare say there's worse jobs out there.
Leftover stew tonight for me, and homemade lasagne (frozen from a while ago) for the OH. He's not a big fan of stew although I'll convert him yet! Time to get out the meal plan and look at the following week so I can plan the shopping list accordingly.
*big tired hugs to all*0 -
evening!
DH had a good result from his consultant - his back is not as bad as we thought and might even repair itself(2 prolapsed discs):j they are not going to do anything for him as he is a lot better now thanks to changing his job to a less strenuous one. At least we know there's nothing serious to worry about now!:T
Back to work tomorrow after a few days off following my working holiday - am not looking forward to getting back to proper work!:D plus I've got to do a sleep-in too!
(((hugs))) to anyone in need - esp Anniestar xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Hi all - just back to report that the 'glaring martyr b***h from hell, Violet Elizabeth Bott, is now the proud possessor of some flowers and a box of chocs from he-who-now-realises-what-a-pain-he-can-be! Of course, I accepted them graciously but still insisted that he has to be more organised if he wants me to continue to do his books.
STEF - I thought mine was bad - having your ex turn out his pockets so you could do the accounts must have been a nightmare; well done to you for doing them even once!
TAPLADY - glad TAPLORD's back is not as bad as first thought. I wish him a speedy recovery from the problem; it was nature's way of telling him to get a less physical job, wasn't it?
Well, I've had a weird day - I don't usually fly off the rails like I did today. Although I do think it's done some good it's not something I'd like to repeat often; it's emotionally draining and I don't think DH could afford all the flowers and choccies!
I hope everyone here has a good evening - it has been a trying time lately for many of you and it's about time everyone had a great big slice of good luck, I think.
See you all later.

ANNIESTAR big hugs.
MIOLIERRE I should think so too, enjoy the chocs.
TAPLADY good news re: OH back.
Lovely and quiet here. Went to the allotment when DS was at karate. One of my chilli's has a white flower on it! Had leftovers for tea and also cooked up some plums that were going wrinkly and had them with some ice-cream. Also made microwave flapjacks.
Off to chill out. Sleep tight all

Thanks all of you! I actually think you kept me going today and saved DH from a grevious injury with the new 2ft screwdriver he bought himself today! He said 'look at my new screwdriver' and I must admit I was rivetted by it, it was so exciting!! Yawn, yawn. I'm going to show him all my knitting needles and crochet hooks later!
Anyway, as you can tell, I am in a much better frame of mind and it was fantastic being able to sound off on here and not be told to 'get over it'!
I'm going to have a bath and then sit and watch Mary Queen of Shops which is currently recording; I might even let DH have one of MY choccies! Mind you, I haven't finished the accounts yet so watch this space - his new screwdriver might yet find it's first job!
See you all later, you sanity-savers!

Hiya just popped on quickly before I fall asleep!
Hugs to Hester and anniestar and to anyone else feeling low or unwell.
I'm lying on the bed watching tv and struggling to stay awake. I just seem to have been so busy recently with 'stuff'.
Yesterday we went to church and I taught sunday school, but once again we're struggling with too few teachers and lots of children. Then I spent the afternoon sorting out flights from Perth to Sydney as part of our Oz trip which is 4 weeks away on Wednesday.
Today I went shopping in Asda then went to DD1's school to view the Year 6 s*x education video that they will be watching tomorrow. I think be she'll ok as she's pretty sensible and mature for her age.
Tonight's tea was roast chicken and there's enought left over for 2 more meals plus the stock for soup. Well that's all of my exciting news, goodnight.0
