I spotted this yesterday and forgot to ask..I'm intrigued- do tell!

Sitting having a choc ice, I fancied something sweet and it was the only thing left. I've been to the tip and am putting off re-sealing the bath now it's all de-moulded. I'm lacking motivation now..anyone want company on a HHC?

    Afternoon all

Two loads of washing done, including my bedding. Nearly all dry and put away.

Bed remade, all bedrooms dusted and vacuumed and landing vacuumed.

Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Went to shops to get dog's medicine and pay the paper bill.

    That's all really.....

    Hi all
Its been a bit mad here this morning. We have contaminated drinking water apparantly - only found out at 7 this morning. Had to rush to Tescos to get bottled - didn't have time to boil tap water and cool it so I could give the kids drinks for brekkie and school. Luckily our school is still open, some have had to shut. God knows when the water is going to be sorted, these things can take days.
Then I had to go to the bank and thought I'd have a quick look for some new shoes and I brought a dress - not sure how that happened.
Just having some lunch and then it will be time to collect the kids.
Hope you are all having a good day. TTFN

Back again with yet another cuppa, just made the workmen one as well in the hope they'll get my gas on by 4.30.
Kazwookie,The tip is a joy to behold, I almost didn't want to get it dirty! It used to be skips with steps up and a portacabin but now its all one way, 3 lanes, drive right up to the edge of the skip affair and a little office building. Probably why my council tax went up this year..Lord knows what folks did, I took mine to one in the next council tax district along.

Discovered as I came to make bread that I've thrown the BM paddle out embedded in the crust of the last loaf I made about 2 weeks ago..managed to order a new one online just now for £3.50. That'll teach me.

Someone kick me please? I'll regret my lazyness when I'm back at work tomorrow.

    MOJ2, ah..I see!!

  • Well was getting on quite well today, until I opened one of the wall cupboards in the kitchen and my pyrex casserole dish decided to jump out and smash itself onto the kitchen worktop, right on top of my glass chopping board!! I have never knew how far glass could fly across a room when it smashed!! and how tiny it gets itself! So have ended up spending my time cleaning the kitchen (again!!) and making sure every sliver of glass is accounted for!

Think next job on my list will be to sort out my kitchen cupboards :o
