Morning all. Chin up Bonsibabe, I can't believe how impersonally you're being treated, it's apalling. Hugs to you.
Can't remember if I posted about the men coming to turn the gas off today to do re-routing and back again on Thursday to switch it back on but I've now had 3 different people telling me different things. They can just get on with it and if I'm in, I'm in or they can lump it. How can big contract companies expect householders co-operation if they can't even get the plan straight between the project managers and the workforce?

Rant over and list to follow.
Today I'll be mostly sprucing up the bathroom. Paintwork needs re-touching, grout needs bleaching and the like. The highlight of yesterday was discovering the tip has re-opened after 2 months being modernised. I was so excited and will be nipping down there with all the garden waste later. Sad isn't it!
    Kettle on first though.

    I'm skiving.........

I had the lounge and dining room room carpets cleaned this morning (he turned up at 7.45!) and now they're wet...... so no flying in those rooms and I really mustn't walk across it until it's dry so I can't do upstairs. I guess I'll just sit here in the kitchen surrounded by all the mountain of furniture from the other rooms!:D

    {Hugs} Bonsi-family - keep going guys, you're doing fab!

    Hope

Sat here battling through with more assignment, just giving my brain a coffee break, oh and peanut butter on toast mmmm! Working on the last part now, just as well as it is due in today. DS2s sports day (if weather keeps ok) at 1.15pm so I have until about 1pm to get this done. Put a wash load out and another in while waiting for kettle etc and dishwasher emptied then refilled when waiting for toast, just trying to keep up with the basics, but getting on my nerves a bit that I am getting no help with it at all. I can see me blowing a fuse rather soon. He keeps telling me to 'smile !!!!!!' or asks 'what are you stressed for' as I am dashing out the door to collect DS2 while he lays on the sofa...only so long before that'll bug me :D

Right, best get cracking, big hugs for everyone, hope you all have a superdooper day
One day I might be more organised...........

Woke up at 6am and realised that I hdan't washed DD's school cardigan for today (both were dirty) so I was up and had a dark wash in by 7am closely followed by a bath for me, then I put just her cardigans & clean and dry towels in the TD for 30 mins and they were done in time for her to wear one to school :j So I've put another 2 loads in the TD but only for 30 mins each then I'm putting them on the maiden to finish off as its wet here.

Bedroom does need doing but am going to leave until Friday and do all 4 together. OH came home from fishing trip yesterday and all his stuff is just left on the kitchen floor  so will have to clear that out and put his stinking boots somewhere to air.

Annoyed because I dyed a brand new, worn once, white top pink yesterday. the Dylon stuff colour run stuff didn't work so I think I am going to be not very MSE and order another one online. :o Pink really doesn't suit me so I'm not going to wear it.

Will update later hopefully. I do enjoy reading all about your lives and am in awe of most of you and what you achieve, even if I don't make much comment. Hope today is a good one for you all.

li_me, If your weather is anything like ours there won't be a sports day!

lizzie, I won a lovely top from a friend who had dyed it blue in the wash by accident. She bought herself another one too.

ebay challenge hasn't happened yet but I have stripped beds for washing and have been to doctors this morning and am off to Ald this afternoon.

      Trying to jump in here!
Monday I did some cleaning in my kitchen, Tuesday in the Bathroom - cos I was away from the PC most of the time and had to secondguess! I've wanted to do the ebay challenge so this morning I am sat here trying to write up some items I took photos of ages ago. Very easy to get distracted.

Hope you are all doing better than me!
