Hiya guys, really really busy (this is a bloomin shock to the system- I'll tell you) but I thought I'd let y'all know how I'm getting on

    So Far, I have

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room

    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep and Clean floors,[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front

    Level Three[STRIKE]
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms.[/STRIKE]
    2. Make fudge for best friends wedding anniversary AND CLEAR UP AFTERWORDS!
    3. Go to library, take read books back and pick up food for free book for foraging trip next week.
    4. Find a nice HM gift idea for my Nan's 80th birthday.
    5. Sort plants out in yard, transfer herbs into bigger pots.
    6. Sweep the shared corridor in our building as am the only person who hasn’t done it yet!
Pretty pleased with progress so far, off to the library now and then I'm playing tennis with hubbie and then it's back home for fudge making, herb planting and sweeping the corridor! Worst thing that has happened to me today is lifting the lid of the slowcooker when pulling out and cleaning appliences and finding week old mouldy food in there:o -I was retching for ages and it took me another age to get it properly cleaned and disinfected  I told you I was rubbish!

Phew! Just reading that list makes me tired!

Well done to everyone who's doing so well today, it's really inspiring this thread is, because one of the things when you're a house wife is that you can sometimes feel isolated. It's really nice reading other peoples lists and recognising the same struggles, stresses and pride in a job well done!

    Have good days,

    Jen x

Hi I have been working away all morning and I have finished level 3 in the kitchen and dining room. I didn't need to clean the oven, DW or WM cause I did them last week.
Washing out on the line is nearly dry so should be able to iron that soon.
    Still waiting for Argos delivery.
Must say it definately makes a difference not turning the computer on until I have finished my list. I could surf the net all day lol.
Just going to grab some lunch
    Back later

Not done much this morning :o

I put DD in her bouncy chair before while i popped into kitchen to make my brekky... literally out the room 3 minutes tops?! I come back in room to find huge streaks of blood all over bouncy chair! She has somehow skinned the tip of her little toe completely and it was pouring with blood! :( I have NO idea how she did it as i cant find anything around that might have cut her?! So feeling like a bad mum

Thanks for the suggestions but I have already bought the sling.. its actually called "babasling" and is £39.95 in mothercare but i got a brand new one on ebay for £23 including the postage! :D :money:

Anyway here it is in action... she loves it so far..

Re losing baby weight... im with you all on that.. i now have another 7lb to lose before im back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 10st 3lb. Ideally i'd like to go back to my pre-meeting-OH-whos-a-junk-food-addict weight :o :rotfl: which was 9st 3lb..... but cant see that happening!

    Today i have:
    • Managed brekky - just
    • Washed dishes from last night/this morning
    • Put a dark load in WM
    • unpacked my BM and read instructions (as been a while!) then remembered bug*er not got any powdered milk so cant [strike]play with it [/strike] use it.
    • Ordered a new colour ink cartridge for printer so can print baby pics
    • Printed out packing slips for ebay items that need posting today
    I still need to:
    • Finish cleaning kitchen/flylady list
    • FIND LETTER AND RING HOSPITAL TO CANCEL SPINE CLINIC APPOINTMENT - only found out last week i cant go for my checkup because im breastfeeding so cant have my xrays done.
    • Get a shower once OH is up cos i ming!:rotfl:
    • Go to post office to post ebay items
    • Go to home and bargain and buy powdered milk
    • Sort through baby's new 0-3 clothes i ruined on sat without her even wearing them when i put her new jeans in WM with her new sleepsuits not realising they would run! Then OH put them in tumble drier without realising.. so dont know if its permanent now or not?

    Ouch, poor little mite Johanne.
Just dropped LO off at nursery, bl00dy weather is doing my head in. Opened window earlier and it was freezing so i popped tights and 3/4 length trousers on her. When i started walking her to nursery it was really cold and i was glad i'd put tights on her. By the time we got to nursery it was roasting:confused: I wish it was one thing or another?
Need to try and rig up printer as i want to print off a reward chart for LO.

    Hello all,

Back from my lovely weekend away, was nice to have some quality time with DH but the drive home in the wind was horrible; caravans and lorries swaying all over the place.

Ok going to try to join in this week.

Not easy though. still got the cleaning company in after the fire and still have essential building work that needs doing and still no hot water/heating.

kitchen is part that needs work doing but i will give it a go.

    I wish it was 4 1/2 here!!!

I'm kinda hoping the weather's going to be nice for us so that I can have the kids either out in the garden or away out somewhere so the house stays decent. Is that wishful thinking??? Perhaps I'm being a bit naive?

I know what you mean though, I swear the years are getting shorter  My DS starts school this year and it feels like he's only just started nursery (he's been there nearly 2 years!)
