Just having a quick cuppa between weedings and choppings - it's glorious out there even though the forecast is rain, I'm guessing that'll come later though so I'm making the most of it. Garden wheelie is full and there's 2 car trips worth of branches for the tip when I next go. I'm waiting for a funeral to finish next door (in the church) then I can get the rest of the lawn cut with the noisy petrol mower.
Livingroom curtains just about dry and my bed is stripped and in the WM. I feel an afternoon nap coming on at this rate..

Glad someone missed me pigpen! ;) Haven't really been anywhere, have been popping in occassionally to catch up just not posting. Look how much you all chat though!!! This is why I don't get any flying done, much better to read about it instead!:rotfl: I am tired today though, LO was awake at 5am and didn't want to go back to sleep although he is currently having a snooze on the living room floor so I might get some work done in a bit. (I am not a horrible mummy honest :o , he just prefers to nap on the floor than the sofa!!! But I did make him a lovely tigger cushion yesterday to make him a bit more comfy!)

Right off to order some packing supplies for ebay and then on with the kitchen and I shall update tonight :D

Jen, thank you so much :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You have made me feel so much better that there is at least one other person out there like me :D:D I have never met anyone else like me, but reading your post is like reading all about me. I made a start on my livingroom yesterday and the dust was so thick I was really disgusted with myself :o:o it wasn't dust it was actually dirt it was so bad  and the thing you said about getting to the paper plate stage made me laugh so much because we ate our lunch off of the plates in our picnic set yesterday because there were no clean plates left in the kitchen and I was busy doing the livingroom to wash them.

Good luck to you, I hope being on here helps you (and me too :D )

    Hello all,

This is my first post on the flylady thread. I am an absolutely crappy housewife when it comes to cleaning. I’m kick !!! in the kitchen, a canny shopper, thanks to this site am a good moneysaver and do all our accounts and I make a mean cup of tea too.:D However, on the housework front I’m embarrassingly bad. For example it has been three months since I cleaned the bathroom, and there are three days worth of pots in the kitchen. I haven’t changed the bedding for about 6 weeks and the last time I dusted was…..well I don’t even want to think about it.:o

Frankly, the only housework that gets done around here is the kitchen every few days ( when I have used every single pot in the house and we’ve got to the paper plate stage) or when my in laws come to stay and I put on the domestic goddess act.

  • I will have to look into it then I think.

Will the fact that I am a new user go against me, ie no feedback?

Hi everyone! Welcome to newbies and welcome back returners!:hello:

I'm updated my signature as you can see :j YAY! Still on target! but  clutch is playing up on the car and its booked in for Wednesday. Wonder how much that'll cost?!

Wondered where you'd got to Jill - figured you'd be running round like and idiot now you're back at work. Who was it that said 'a woman's work is never done' - How true is that! It really is impossible to do it all.

I'm with you on the barkeepers friend - I've just run out of it yesterday - it seems to last ages though (or is it just that I don't clean my kitchen sink enough?) :rotfl:

Love the confession Zenjen! :rotfl: Good luck with your first week.

Johanne - you think you're a bad mother - yesterday DD2 fell over at the park and landed on her face - cutting her lip which poured with blood! Today she fell off the bottom of the slide at toddler group and bumped her head - big red mark there now. Then she got her foot caught in the trampoline and then got her legs stuck between the steps of the slide too! Can't say much though - by the time I was 3 I'd already chipped all my front baby teeth and bumped my head so many times I've now got permanent lumps either side!!!:rotfl:

Lizzie - my friend had a spare keyboard and is in the process of selling all the letter keys off one by one on ebay!!!!

Think I'd better do a HHC before Pigpen [strike]gets her whip out [/strike]tells me off!
