just tried again!

Got through to IT support and they said that customer services are mis-informing people as the CS department made calls over the last few days checking email addresses were correct just in case they were to give you a vip slot. However this is just a marketing thing and that this was noted on the account BUT you wouldn't be guaranteed a slot you'll just have to wait for an email. They said they couldn't see whether or not you have a slot as its random.

sigh! i'm getting fed up already!

you could always try ringing order through when vip slots start (i believe this has worked in the past) hopefully the site wont play up like last time. my basket showed 0 items but when i went throught to check sizes etc they were there. it got very confusing and annoying.

glad i got a slot as dh is working this sat and i wont have a 2yr old,5yr old and 9yr old running about.

I have vip sale link, just rang the man i spoke to confirmed I have vip but would not book me a slot. He said it should be up and running by 5pm. Wish they all said the same! :mad:

i spoke to christine. ive been selected to receive an email invite. she said she couldnt book one over the phone. aw well, at least i'm getting one!!! now don't you all be grabbing all the bargains will you?!! i need boys age 12-18mths jeans, and boys age 4!

I remember at Xmas I managed to get the first slot via the link in my account as soon as it became active. I got the confirmation email straight away but the actual 'invite email' didn't arrive until the next day!

So I think the best thing to do is keep checking that link!!
