on this thread maybe, but some of the people who write lovely, friendly, helpful posts openly on the thread are also capable of writing pure venom by private message.

Any tips for me as I have my first reveal job tomorrow and I am getting more nervous the closer it gets! I know the staff probably go through this every month or so but I am just nervous about doing the checking before I have revealed as it will be quite obvious I am not a normal customer  If I could go in and tell them what I am doing and then do it I would be fine!
Any tips from seasoned revealers (sounds a bit rude don't it) would be very welcome!
Thanks peeps

I had to call RE today too (bit of a silly reason too) and was on the phone for a maximum 2 minutes - hope that helps!
I got a bit worried when I got the email but it was nothing much of an issue.Proud meowmy of four fuzzy cats0 -
I've only been msing for a couple of months but not sure The pay, even on 'good jobs', is an absolute pittance for the time involved. Might be ok if you can just walk down the road and do a shop but for how many of us is that possible? By the time you pay to print of the notes and questionnaire, read it all up, travel to the site, maybe pay for parking, spend the time actually doing the job, travel home, then spend endless time filling in the form - all for just a few quid! (Only £6 on a lot of phone shops) This sort of job isn't really going to make a hole in paying off credit cards etc if that's what one is hoping to do. Doing a paper round will probably bring in more money and a lot less hassle! If you do start a union Guy I for one will join.
I totally agree and I find it weird that as, effectively, sessional, or locum, workers the pay isn't 4 times higher. Perhaps it's only really cost effective for those who can nip into a big city after work or at lunch and do 3 or 4 jobs a day, rather than for someone like me who has to travel on country roads to small market towns and pay for parking as well as fuel....Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

On my first and only ever query with RE the pub queried my answer to 'was there running hot water?' I replied no as I ran the hot tap for a long time but nothing came. The pub actually queried whether I had tried the cold tap as they are often plumbed wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why on earth would I try a cold tap for hot water?????
I reckon some companies query everything to get a few more points!!Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

Yes, really, honestly & truly.
When I posted about the client/company guessing game & the whole confidentiality issue a few weeks ago I got 4 private messages, all from regular posters on the mystery shopping threads.
One message was polite & I replied explaining why I posted what I did.
The other three were venomous in the extreme. Needless to say I ignored them but I do smirk when I see these users portraying themselves as all sweetness & light, when I've seen the other side of them.0 -

I have to say I am really surprised and a little saddened to hear that.0 -
