I've only been doing it for a few months too, but when I started I just applied everywhere. And not all the comps have work as regular as others, but the ones you don't hear from that often can pay more. If I have my fingers in a lot of pies then I can always find something to eat - or thats they way I see it!:rotfl:

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr - have been MS'ing for about 6 months now, and have NEVER had ANY queries on any of my reports - now, RE ring me up on Friday to query a phone shop job. Apparently the shop DID discuss mobile broadband speeds with me... Erm. No, they didn't, otherwise I would have put that in my darned report.

I can't believe that this shop are essentially calling me a liar and I'm pretty cheesed off. Why on earth would it be in my interests to lie about something like that? Huff.

It's particularly annoying because I MS'd 3 of their competitors as part of the same project the following day, and they were all rubbish in comparison so they would have come out in a really good light anyway, even if they had accepted my (correct) report as it was.

Anyways, onto other things.... cookingmummy - I'd be really grateful if you could send me your list too please?

Everywhere I look on the forum at the moment people are critisising RE and I am starting to wonder if they get much good press. I'm with them but never done a job because all I see are rubbish pub jobs for drinks I don't like.

In short, is it worth sticking with them and will they only update my available jobs if I actually get off probation with them?

I don't like RE either. At least with Gap the level of 'reporting' matches the fee.

You'll be off probabtion when you complete your first job, but AFAIK the jobs don't differ between probabtion/non-probation.

I've noticed that there seem to be alot of pub jobs I don't want either! I have done a lovely sandwich shop for them and doing another one on Monday. But don't want to comment yet as I haven't been with them long enough to see how good they are at paying. So I'll reserve my judgement until my first pay day! :rotfl:

I only started MS last month and wanted to say thanks for all the useful information that has been posted - I wouldn't have known where to start otherwise.

I am signed up with about 5 companies, but I feel like I spend half my days just refreshing the job screens in case there are any new jobs...

How do you cope with checking so many different companies, how often do you check for jobs?

I'd be grateful for a PM with the list of companies too please...

I like GFK best as they are quite straight forward and don't ask for comments on every question (have only done one for RE due to all the comments...). GAP seems quite low pay, but I've done them if I can fit a couple into one day without taking me out of my way or if it's a shop where I want to buy something anyway, as again the questionnaires are nice and easy.

Any suggestions of companies with similar straight-forward reporting would be good to hear about - I'm in Suffolk.

    Thanks again...
