You'll be off probabtion when you complete your first job, but AFAIK the jobs don't differ between probabtion/non-probation.
I agree Johnny. So much for the feedback they asked for from us as it looks like they haven't taken a blind bit of notice. Their fees are among the lowest yet their reports are the longest.
I got a query from them this week and I was so annoyed I was a bit cheeky. It was an off sales with barred cages all round it so you couldn't lean over the counter and check what shoes the assistant was wearing. That is what I answered. They said the off sales have said it was black. I said fine by me she could have been wearing carpet slippers for all I know but as I didn't have a periscope I wouldn't know.
And if you look at their assignments what fascinates me is the amount of staff they have. There are dozens. Is that where our fees are going ...to pay their wages.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
I think they have about 120 members of staff at RE (or so I hear). It's a shame they don't communicate to each other.
Last time I had a query on an asssignment I had an email and 2 answerphone messages within about 2 hours. Come on RE, give me a chance!
Oh and it bugs me that they don't increase the fees on jobs that have been sat on the job pages for weeks and weeks.0 -
Could I please have the list PMd to me?

thanks for the answers re RE; if I could see any decent jobs on there I might give it a go, but in 2 months I honestly haven't! I must have done loads for TNS Bare and GFK in that time, so that says a lot IMHO.
'Nother q for you all - does any one know who does Somerfield, Morrisons and Sainsburys cos they're local for me. A pm would be appreciated since I don't want to encourage anyone to publish sensitive info. Tanks!!!Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

Hi Guycross,
I had something similar with a pizza job for them, I emailed them about it and after a 'you need to check the times more carefully' lecture, they accepted it and paid me. Hopefully they will do the same for you0 -

I was wondering the same Sinderella, as they only jobs that I see include a real ale :cool:0 -

I only started MS last month and wanted to say thanks for all the useful information that has been posted - I wouldn't have known where to start otherwise.
I am signed up with about 5 companies, but I feel like I spend half my days just refreshing the job screens in case there are any new jobs...
How do you cope with checking so many different companies, how often do you check for jobs?
I'd be grateful for a PM with the list of companies too please...
I like GFK best as they are quite straight forward and don't ask for comments on every question (have only done one for RE due to all the comments...). GAP seems quite low pay, but I've done them if I can fit a couple into one day without taking me out of my way or if it's a shop where I want to buy something anyway, as again the questionnaires are nice and easy.
Any suggestions of companies with similar straight-forward reporting would be good to hear about - I'm in Suffolk.
Thanks again...
I've really enjoyed the jobs I've had so far, so a big thank you to all those whose advise I've read and taken on board :T
And if anyone has any other recommendations of good fair MS companies, I'd love to hear0 -
There is one of the very original threads with a huge list collected and kindly supplied by Becles.

Mystery shopping is by far the worst paid job ever, but it is fun and you have no boss. You can earn very little for the amount of hours and effort you put in.
There is also a large misconception that better jobs are reserved for certain mystery shoppers. From what I can see there is no loyalty an it is the fast finger who gets the best jobs. I am saying this having taken some very good jobs with no previous experience and having spoken to people who have been doing this for years and they don't get any better offers than anyone else.
It pays to be on the list of few so you can combine jobs and get to be more choosy about what you accept.
Just a small note: a small number (no more than 4) of the companies in the list have either seized trading, changed name or merged with others. I have personaly applied to every single one. Some took months to reply but they did.
Retail Rapport I have read in the Guardian that it pays 10 x GR fee for 1 assignment! Of course they are not recruiting and who ever lucky lots are on their list are not nudging.0
