thanks cranezoe and princess leia - yup they had the questions wrong with elements that did not pertain to the assignment. I think that is truly pathetic...thanks for your help, could not have figured out such random answers by myself. It's like they're saying: "prove you can completely balls this up and then you can get it assigned to your account...":rolleyes:Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

What other deductions do people put on their tax return?
I put a fixed cost for home office (elec and what not) a percentage of my broadband as well.
I bought my laptop for use with mystery shopping, I should put this down? I had it for 4 months before I started mystery shopping however.
I am just curious as to what other deductions I should put through, obviously mileage, printing costs, expenses etc.0 -
I put printing and mileage and if used telephone calls/stamps. I do not bother trying to work out other stuff as it sounds like a logistical nightmare unless you only use the laptop for MS!
But I am sure the excellent Timmne can provide the real answer to thatSealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

I only put milage, phone calls, stamps and printing, and anything I have to buy that I would not otherwise have done. Sometimes I only put half the price of things I've had to buy as I still get the benefit from it. For example I bought a t-shirt this weekend. I wouldn't have bought it if I wasn't mystery shopping, and I don't really need another one. But do have the benefit of a new t-shirt. I always put down the cost of any meals or drinks I buy. This is because in a "normal" job you get meals and drinks for free in the office, or reimbursed as expenses when out of the office so why should they come out of my profit? When I buy groceries I don't put the cost down as I'd have bought them anyway, same for petrol.
Does that sound reasonable?ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
Talk about BARE-faced cheek - after cutting my fee for one of my last jobs, and refusing to pay the full amount, they phoned me late this morning and asked me to do some jobs for the same company - TODAY!! Yeah, sure I´ll drop everything and rush around town in the hope that they´ll actually pay the full amount this time ...
Sorry, once bitten, twice shy.0 -
They've just sent me an email asking me to nominate my friends to be Mystery Shoppers! It's obviously a bulk mailing type of email - in fact, I very nearly deleted it as spam! Now I'm just going to delete it as irritating! They've not given me any work at all, and I've had 2 jobs showing as pending way past their due date. Why on earth would I want to subject my friends to this kind of treatment?0

BARE rung me again for last minute rush jobs.
How about sorting out the ones i have taken time to sift through on your site and apply to do, instead of ringing me about ones I have no interest in.
They need to get their allocations sorted, most of the time they allocate it so late on that you get no time to do it whatsoever.0
