In a different post I have seen people complaining that grassroots is a waste of time so I feel I must defend it. I haven't been a member for even a month and have already been offered 7 assignments (..............)... some I missed others I couldn't do! This morning I am over the moon as I have just accepted my first assignment that i'll be doing next week and it pays £......!!!! I Know I couldn't believe my eyes so I would recomend them to anyone and everyone... In fact i'm getting my O/H to sign up too! lol!

You might want to edit that post as you are not supposed to name clients and fees in a public forum!

Take care with the assignment you have picked up. You will be credit check and a "footprint" left on your credit record, which may impact on future credit purchases. Yes, the fee is good, but I won't do them as I don't want unecessary credit checks.
Here I go again on my own....

is GR showing any jobs in Glasgow area ... cant see any...

also for Bare it might worth considering paypal payment option...

Bulktrans My paypal address is different to my registered email address and couldn't see anywhere to put this. I'd had the paypal box ticked for ages and they never offered this option and after reading pretty much the whole site again, think it is just for the 'yanks' to use.

I've deregistered myself from them now

well i am yet to do a job with them so you are a better judge of the payment option but i was under the impression that if you give a correct email id for paypal then they should automatically pay thru paypal.... but u know better... i will be careful if i do my first assignment ;-)

Woodrocks - Did you not get paid from BARE at all?
I'm with Nationwide and the woman in the banking hall has assured me I've given the right SWIFT and IBAN numbers so there is no reason for them not to pay.
I feel another stroppy email coming on....
Bare contact: 003232428730 if you dial this number first: 08444623232 (telediscount) the call will only cost you 2p a min. I find them quite nice but that is just me. If you enter your SWIFT and IBAN into the extended profile you should get paid. The first payment by most companies take longer than expected.

I have had a good reponse from GR, have done three assignments since joining 3 weeks ago and payments have gone through fine :)

GfK, I have two assignments tomorrow - their lead times were very short so dont know whether that is normal, but queried the distance on one and they upped the fee to cover it, so very chuffed!!

ISC - 2 assignments, paid via paypal no problems

Bare - where do I start!! I hae applied for 4 jobs which are pending and am getting nowhere fast. Some of them are still showing as pending even though the dates have gone, so I dont know if I am doing it properly??

Have assignments coming up for Amberarch who have so far been very helpful although their paperwork looks a bit more complicated than some of the others and Optimum Contact who again have been really helpful both by email and on the phone. Will let you know how I do with them.

    Aarrggghhh! Stop it!!!!

Just kidding! But where are all these jobs???? None in my area. Do they give out telephone jobs on RE, and if so, how do you get to see them?

Also, I've never found any work on GR - just a page saying no jobs. Is there a search function?
