I really hate that - I had to stop using the sandwich-van lady who used to visit our offices because she used to shout these things - she was too nice and very loud, which = embarrassing!

She used to compliment the above with things like "my sweet" and "babe"... eeeurgh!

I'm fuming. I contacted BARE this morning about 4 unpaid shops (1 done in April, 3 in May) and received a really snotty reply from one of the schedulers saying its not his fault the payments are taking so long and if I'd updated my information and and let them know then this wouldn't have happened, and also If I read my emails from them asking for this information then I would have been paid. Hello!, I've received one email from them about my SWIFT code which I replied twice to him about. Still no payments.

I wouldn't mind so much but talk about difficult to get hold of. The 'help' section on their booking site is a joke. You can't get hold of any contact details, which I can find, please correct me if I'm wrong. So what am I supposed to do, look into my crystal ball and find an email address.

The only damm emails I ever get are the ones saying I've been booked for a job I've never even applied for. I've had it with them and as soon as they pay me I'm cancelling my account. Stuff them, their stupidly long questionnaires, rude scheduler, and payments in Euros not to mention jobs that hang around for ever which they then want you to cover at a moments notice.
I'll stick to GR or GfK.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with them Hun. I had the same problem with Bare. Did two mortgage jobs with them last year that took me forever to do and to write up and they did not pay any money into my account. It showed as paid but trust me they didn't  - they gave me the same bull re swift codes and what nots, in the end I just though fcku this for a game of laughs and just left it. No longer apply for jobs there as they are not to be trusted as far as I am concerned and as already mentioned, it is a lot of work for not very little. TG for the great UK based companies I say :D

Woodrocks - Did you not get paid from BARE at all?
I'm with Nationwide and the woman in the banking hall has assured me I've given the right SWIFT and IBAN numbers so there is no reason for them not to pay.
I feel another stroppy email coming on....

Oh dear, that's just annoying, hope another appears soon for you!

Edit - I don't have any on my GR but as I have done one already I doubt they would let me do another, unless its a different bank ;)

In a different post I have seen people complaining that grassroots is a waste of time so I feel I must defend it. I haven't been a member for even a month and have already been offered 7 assignments some I missed others I couldn't do! This morning I am over the moon as I have just accepted my first assignment that i'll be doing next week and it pays £45!!!! I Know I couldn't believe my eyes so I would recomend them to anyone and everyone... In fact i'm getting my O/H to sign up too! lol!

I've done a couple of jobs for aba-i and they've been great but the 'search for jobs' process leaves a lot to be desired.

Does anyone know of a quicker/less tedious way to maybe see all jobs for a particular store type in one go [if there actually are any available!] - if you do I'd be really grateful if you could let me know how.

I've started to avoid checking the site on the off-chance that there's a job on there cos it takes so long to check the site on the off-chance that there's something on there.

    Thanks guys.
taking positive steps, to reduce all my debts

kim-ley you need to take out the client names and fees from your posts as this is seen as breaking your contractually obligation!
