I got the same email - don't worry about your town not being there. Mine is and it STILL rejects them. I have decided that Gap planned this - thats why the fee was higher than their other ones - it has us chasing assignments and spending ages looking for them before we even started! probably a ploy to get more hits on their website! lol!! (can you tell I've been up half the night with a toddler who decided it was day?!)

I haven't seen anything with GFK for a while now. I didnt even get to see the train ticket ones.
I've been doing this a couple of months and there had been LOADS of phone calls on gfk and other bits and bobs. I loved the phone calls. does anyone know if they will come back again ever or if that was a one off?

The phone calls are great - good to do while the little one is in nursery (mine was up at 4.30am) - should have logged on for a chat!!!

I've got a phone call on tomorrow with RE and a phone call next month with GFK but that's it for the calls.

have you seen the calls before with gfk? I mean the ones where you could do 50! I did them while my little one was asleep at lunch times. And I misssssssss them!
I have a phone call with GFK in august but thats it. (when I got that I started thinking that could be it for the other calls).

maybe I will actually get up and log in next time she is up! I just lay in the dark not feeling tired for 3 hours while I listened to her bouncing in the cot and calling out for me. hey ho.

Thank you so much for all the useful information on this thread. I've signed up with quite a few places and had my first shop yesterday with one today and another tomorrow.

My first one was pizza delivery, and the service was quite honestly shocking to say the least! I'm worried about my rather scathing report, and the client knowing my address. I think it will be fairly obvious who I am!

Am I being paranoid here....??!

All you can do is tell the truth that is what we are here to do, pity the service was bad. Hopefully next time it is better.

What am I doing wrong? I haven't found ANY jobs in my area on any of the MS sites I've signed up to. Is there a quick way to search, and are there some companies better than others for work in the north east? Any help gratefully received, I'm beginning to think I've wasted my time going through all those tests etc.

All you can do SC is be a little patient. I think there is a bit of a lull just now in the MS world. Maybe it is the general down turn in the economy or maybe it is a holiday month or something.

Just hang in there. It can be a bit like waiting for a bus...you wait ages and they all then come at once.

For example, on Bare/BAI when I do a search by state (county) there is nothing, but then it says you should search by country in order to find the telephone jobs. Is there a simple way to tell which jobs are phone jobs, ie does it say on the main listing screen, or do you actually have to click on each job to see if it's a go-into-branch job or a telephone job? Thanks.

Sorry for so many questions - just feeling a bit frustrated and anxious about our finances. Need to get some money in!

Sorry SC the only way is to go through the jobs one by one. I know how frustrating it can be especially when you need the money. If I spot anything on any of the sites I will let you know. Have you tried Optimum Contact...they do telephone surveys.
