Did an Electrical shop for RE at the weekend. One of the questions was something like "Did the sales assistant listen attentively while you were speaking?" so I replied "Yes"

They phoned me yesterday because I didn't make a comment. So I said well, he did listen attentively. And she said "How did you know he was listening attentively?":confused: For pity's sake ......:confused:

Then I was queries on another question. "Did the salesman refrain from using technical terms". I'd put "Yes" - and was asked to explain my answer!! How much more explaining can I do?
I did 2 of those because I happened to be in the area and I have regreted it dearly.
I like to put in a report the exact amount I am being paid so if I am being paid peanuts then I hate to give it more time than it deservs.
I had some questions sent back for clarification 2, The stamp one they do is exactly the same! again never ever ever again I'd much rather have a burger!

I know Paul I just did them. I am going into town anyway that day on another MS so thought I would get something good to eat while there.

Hi Southern - I'm in the north east - Middlesbrough area.

Holly, thanks! I have registered with Optimum but still need to complete some sort of telephone assessment before I get on their list properly - I think it's a recorded message. I was waiting for a quiet moment without kids around. I guess I could try it today, just feeling a bit disheartened with the whole thing.

Also having problems with Gapbuster. I know I completed their application a few days ago but now when I go on the website I can't see anywhere to log in as an existing shopper, so I am having to go through the whole application again.
This is where you log in if you have the shopper number and pass:
    https://www.xec.gapbuster.com./Login.aspx?culture=en-us
There should be a job release either tonight or tomorrow so watch out for it.

I had my 1st assignment with Bare today and it went really well :D I was kinda dreading it as it was an arranged interview but it was fine. Hope I get a decent score so I can self-allocate!

I'm still dreading my 1st RE report. I take it its best to comment in EVERY SINGLE FIELD! Crazy really. Oh well. I wish I'd been able to book an earlier visit for RE as its not a few weeks yet and it was the only thing I'd seen in my area. Now of course there seem to be more but I can no longer search until I've done the first job. I'd rather just get it over with! And reading about their reports makes it worse LOL :)

You are lucky Roxy. I registered with Bare ages ago and did the test recently. Passed it and got an e-certificate. Whoopy doo.

Applied for 3 jobs mid June and they are still pending!!!

Anyone know how long their jobs are "pending". Some had passed their date and they are still pending but with new dates.

    Aaaargh.

OK, I've started a useful thread for situations like this. As previously suggested (and the lovely Timne has agreed it's a good idea) I've started a 'stock phrases' thread. I'm hoping it will gradually get stuffed full with useful quotes to answer questions like this. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=12524897#post12524897 - have a look

I see those calls, there are still few on my list but I don't happen to have an account with everyone of them, do you?

As for Gap planning what happened with the electrical shops I thought exactly the same thing. Someone had a right laugh anyway! The numbers kept on going up and down. I'd love to see them again and see why they are being that bit more generous there and what proof of visit is required!

no - I dont have accounts with every one of them. I had to turn lots down because of that but found that there was still quite a few I could do. I didnt manage 50 but I thought it was great that there were so many to choose from! think I did about 15 though :T

GAP actually replied to my email saying they would allocate the jobs to me if I gave them the assignment numbers. when I replied I heard nothing and then just now had an email saying they had assigned one -but when I checked it was still rejected and the assignment number they gave me was wrong. Then I got a generic email saying that other shoppers had got the jobs! other INVISIBLE shoppers in my opinion!

Did anyone one here actually get them???

    JM you're a beaut.

I was about to say that I'll be writing a report in a minute and therefore will contribute to the new thread but it's a GAP one so it's tick boxes only! :D
