is it worth the risk as its 1cm too thick? gutted if i can't use it, its a great case but never used it as hand luggage for ryanair.

1cm too big is still too big, those cages are made accurately

I have bought two of these from Argos.

Although they state Size H56.5, W36, D19.5cm, I have found on both that the height is within the 55cm allowed by Ryanair - they seem to be playing it safe on height. So with that in mind, I find this a great compromise between max size, min weight, and case keeping its shape

According to the Argos website the case above weighs 1.73kgs which is much more like it.
I have looked at it before on the Argos website and I think that I have seen it much cheaper???
Might be wrong though

Looking to buy my third set of luggage for carry on with Ryanair. One set which would still be the correct size died and the other 2 are fine but do not meet the ultra strict measuring although can still use for non flying breaks. My worry about using ultra light luggage is will they be sturdy enough to be up to the job. Had several sports bags that come away from the seams. Has anyone used these light weight cases for several journeys. Do they last? Thanks.

My Cabin Max has been on at least 20 trips, no signs that it's suffered for it.
I don't however pack it till the zips are straining

I purchased 3 of these for our trip, they are very well made and look like we can fit lots of items in, they have very handy extra pockets in for holding tickets and passports. i note there are only 4 left. they are also very lightweight. 750grams! And it only cost £13

£ 7.99 + £1.50 postage = £9.49 in total, and not £13.00 that you mention. No mention of weight on the listing either?

It is showing on my Ebay (items purchased) as £13 inc p&p, but I paid the price £9.49..
I would definitely recommend it, but please be aware I have not used it to travel yet so I cannot report how well it lasts! Btw the seller is a quick poster I got my 3 bags the next day.
