If I were a sad old munter who bought my missus on the internet, I'd probably go shopping for upgrades in the same countries. Until then I'll stick to Halifax and all it's dark satanic mills, whippets and flat caps.
Eee it int arf grand up ere.
I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.0 -

I'd be very careful what you say on that subject Ian. I am not sad, or a "munter" (I know the adjective "munted" but have no idea what a "munter" is kindly explain), nor did I buy my wife on the internet.
See, the Brits still have their jealousy and prejudice lightly seasoned with a soupcon of political correctness.
A comment made about 20 east europeans running a drug empire are scorned but the typical British anti-asian prejudice still pervades, lightly festering under the surface.

I'd suggest you read what I wrote - I think that the wording is such that the OP should get their power, and secondly, I didn't know that you lived on the same street, has the other properties sold yet? The easement will already be in place and could be enforced.
No one reads what you write - its too full of nonsense and self adulation. Oh, I've seen some of those mail order Asia brides - hard to tell the difference between the sexes.FREEDOM IS NOT FREE0 -
I thought this was a thread about property not a misogyinistic rant about British and Asian women and your own personal prejudices. Get a life!0

A neighbour of ours managed to win a similar battle with a developer. He wanted some boundaries fenced as per the artist's impression in the brochure, and the developer claimed it was impossible for health and safety reasons (steep site), but when he threatened to sue they came back and did it.
If this matters to you, don't cave in - take them on! There are various ways they could solve it, trouble is the most obvious one - paying a sweetener to the land owner - would probably cost them just as much as seeing you in court.
Your solicitor has to be the one to write and stipulate that you require the garage to be brought up to the standard described in the sales brochure by the snagging deadline. Never stop pestering the developer. If they fail to come up with a solution, keep hold of the brochure and take it to Trading Standards. But get legal assistance cover with your new house insurance in case you have to take it further.:T:j :TMFiT-T2 No.120|Challenge started 12.12.09|MFD 12.12.12 :j:T:j0 -
