theres a similar place in Cwmbran (wales) for anyone local to it, called MOJO's sells Argos stuff for half price

My camcorder was brand new, all packaging was sealed and there was no damage or distressing to item or packaging - no difference from buying from Argos except a lot cheaper. I would suggest that you need to keep an eye on the prices on ebay as they vary on the same products day to day, in true money saving style I just bid the most I was prepared to pay and waited until I won one at that price.
