I've been given some flat terries 60cm square. I've got a toddler that still needs nappies but have found that some of the folds i've found seem aimed at younger babies and don't seem to fit her too well. Can anyone suggest what folds i could use?

I've found this list - don;t know if it'll help you all describe your folds to me

    Thanks

use two, one like a triangle and the other in the middle in a rectangle.
I always used the bat fold with no probs.

  • Am expecting our first child in june - will probably go down the terries route as its much cheaper in the long run . Any ideas where we can get these at the best price ?

Mothercare ones were too small, i got mine in boots and index! The zorbit ones are the 'posh' brand but I dont know if you can stilll get them. I used nappi nippas to secure them, plastic pants from boots, and for the babes as newborns a muslin square is enough for a nappy.

  • Sorry. I gave up when he got too big to get one folded diagonally round him. Before that I managed for a while by padding it out with flannels.

I pad fold inside a mother ease wrap as they are very very good.

I would just like to add that zorbit are ok, but there are some much better terries out there, mostly on the net, I love little ewes and I have some ones made of bamboo too.

    Good luck

I have used terries for my 3 littluns and have always used a variation to the kite fold.

I do exactly as is shown then bring both sides to the middle lie baby on. pull up the front, then pull the out each middle bit under babes back from where you turned it in on the last fold and do up with a nippa. Very rarely leaks and is quite absorbant. As they get od just fold it more loosely when my babes got to about 18 months lined with a folded flannel to add a little extra absorbancy . If you don't understand the instructions pm me and I will explain better and find or draw a diagram for you.
    hugs frey.

The best thing is I used the terries for all 3 of my kids AND sold them on ebay for nearly as much as i paid for them;)

    hello :)

i love pocket nappies too, i've got one from scallywraps which is fab and i usually use a microfibre booster with that and it's fine for a good few hours!

I love bumbles, but they can be bulky for some people, but they do a seperate booster which is thicker and it is brilliant for overnight, i think it is £3

Tots bots new fluffles are excellent too, although i don;t like the way the microfibre sticks to my rough hands, lol, it is lovely and soft on smooth baby skin though.. i'm just an old trout i think :D
