    Morning!

The camper is fixed!! :j :j

The welder guy came round last night and welded the support back onto the plate. He was originally going to strengthen the other 3 ends of the supports too, but he had a look and said there was no sign of any wear and tear so they didn't need it. And also the weather wasn't very good, so the less time spent with the camper uncovered the better.

He only charged us £20 too. :T

Trying to have a NSD today, although really I need to try and take Ryan up to the doctors for a repeat prescription - it's awful weather though, so I might put that off until tomorrow.

Morning Mrs S, yes you do. Hopefully the weather will improve as well. I see a girl was killed when she was swept away by a river in Bude, poor thing. NOt very far from BUnny I believe.

    Oh goodness, how awful :(

When something like that happens, it reminds you how lucky you are really.

It does and do you know, a mate of mine (of 30 years) wife's mate's husband has died this week after a very short fight against cancer. In Mar they found a tumour the size of a small football on his kidney. There was nothing more they could do for him and told his wife that they should take him home so he can at least die with his family. My mate went to their wedding 5 years ago and has only seen this lad maybe twice in those 5 years. My mate has a multimedia company and the wife has asked if he can do a video/audio eulogy for the funeral , love actually style which btw I think is a wonderful idea, a celebration of his life, something I would like I suppose. But my mate phoned me last night and he's not an emotional guy but the fact that he is leaving a wife and 2 children behind the same set up as him, it has really got to him and he was telling me that he keeps breaking down putting the dvd together, photos, video clips and favourite songs; he went round last night to go through it with her. My point is like yours is that it does bring home to bare how lucky we are but it only takes a moment for your entire life to be turned upon its head which is why it is so important to remember this each day, we should give thanks every single day, for what we have, we hold. But as with everything in life, its a natural thing I suppose we take things for granted and we forget. I keep arping on to myself, on this website how we must remember to remember. I hope Weller is doing ok and I hope Tig is doing ok as well; I havent asked her about it recently becuase she's such an extrovert! (cue tongue lashing :)) I love you all btw x

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspision love actually is all around.
