  • Try sending a paypal invoice asking for a refund - while they can cancel the request its easy to send another and then hit the 'remind' button a few times as a reminder that you asre stil out there - this worked for me as the seller realised I wouldnt give up!

And when I say a few I mean 20-50 at a time, this fills up their in box quickly... not pleasant, not kind but quite effective!
I eBay, you eBay, we eBay.... just do it!!!!!

And sellers selling them, such as this one....

    Sam.

WHY? Hes got an ebay store costing £6 a month. He/she's selling things for 1p that cost 15p to list (not store inventory), he she accepts paypal that is wacking mim/her for at least another 30p per 1p transaction. Its costing him/her a fortune! AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE?
  • Its not the item thats for sale here , it's the feedback. They will have another auction in a different name offering xx amounts of positive feedback. If you win the auction you will be given a list of auction numbers from different users to bid on at 1p a time to get your feedback as you can only have 1 positive from each username irrespective of how many items you buy.
If you bid on the 1p items without buying the list you wont get left any feedback so you will be wasting your money as they are all sattelite accounts from the original auctioneer.
Quite simple scam really, but the amount of people who buy from the newly created accounts is increadible.
The other scam to watch out for is the reverse of this, where people are selling buyers feedback, If you win the auction you will be sent a template to create a simple multi item auction, mail back the auction number and howevermany people you like will buy from it and leave you feedback. This costs more money to begin with but makes the account look like a very busy and trustworthy seller at first glance.

The auctions in either case do not have to actually be paid for, if they are marked as money sent/recieved, then feedback can be left with no paypal charges, just ebay listing costs.

    Hope this explains things
