Free petrol- yawn

Apart from the endless free petrol spam, there are also some claiming to convert water as a supplementary fuel in a car engine.
This isn't only a well-known con, but they're also posted for direct financial self-interest, such as one who has devices for sale on eBay for up to $500, plus other affiliate links posted in a signature
I'm surprised the Abuse team haven't acted against several such spammers, which must have been reported a number of times0 -

I can only assume because they typically use so much pseudoterminology and real scientific terms that they bamboozle people into thinking it's plausible, including the abuse team. I can't think of any other reason why those threads remain while the free petrol ones get deleted. They're still all scams. I mean why not start selling perpetual motion machines on the forum."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Hi,
if they haven't been removed and they're obviously, definitely spam, then they've not been reported.
If you could send them along that would be great.
Thanks!

Perhaps there's a backlog.
I reported 3 a bit after midnight on Sunday morning. One of those has recently been removed, perhaps from my previous report a week earlier.
I've just reported a second post last night by the one who also has a signature link to another of his websites. Apparently he has 15 sites altogether, so we might expect more.
There was a rash of spam for these water fuel kit cons a few weeks ago, but the other threads were deleted. The current thread was posted as a question, but although it will help to avoid naive forum members being taken in by the false claims, it seems spammers may find it on an internet search and then join in .0
