Why won't my PC connect to my wirless router?

Options
I've got a ZyXEL P-660HW Wireless router which came with a USB Wireless adapter. I've got my PS3 and laptop conneted to the router no problem at all without the use of any of the software that came with the router of the adapter. However, my desktop is a different story! I did as the manual suggested and installed the connection software and plugged in the USB adapter. My PC can see the network and will connect but it says its only a limited connection. The signal strenght/quality is good, can anyone suggest what the problem could be?

The funny thing is, we used to be using a Netgear router and I could connect fine to that wirelessly using the adapter that was bundled with the ZyXEL router!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

is there security running?, try re-entering the key.
also has the pc been connect via ethernet up till now?, try disabling the on-board ethernet adapter and rebooting.
