Why does them not paying your re-connection charges mean you can't move?
Can't understand why they gave you two houses rather than moving you in the first place, all seems a bit daft to say the least!0 -
cos it will cost a fortune to get re-connected with sky and phone, and i am not paying as it is there fault that i have to move so they should pay disturbance allowance, however because they are moving us for only 5 weeks they say i am not entitled to it.0
-
Is it worth moving at all for the sake of 5 wks? All that stress  no thanks lol.0

Hi, i am wondering if anyone can or has any info on entitlement? basically what size property can a serving member occupy with 4 children, wife included so family of 6. ive looked at handbook and doesnt shed any light.
cheers in advance.0 -
Families with 4 children are entitled to type D or IV housing.
Officers are entitled to IV, which is a 4 bed with 2 doubles, 2 singles.
Other ranks are entitled to D, which is a 4 bed with 3 doubles and 1 single.
You can apply for houses above entitlement, not sure how likely you would be to get a 5 bed though.0 -
Emmeve - many thanks. looks like i should be ok just found jsp 464. do you know wher i can find out where the sites are in the south for 4 bed properties?
cheers0 -
No sorry can't help there. If you are entitled to a 4 bed and they don't have one in a specific area would you be entitled to SSFA?0
-
Super cheers, i have been reading and looks like as you say im entitled to the 4 bed, all the JSP says about ssfa is hat if ones not available then i can apply for it so i shall follow the procedure and see what they offer.

Hi
I was wondering how I go about getting reduced rent due to building work going on right outside my property. They are starting to knock down building's and the dust is going everywhere.
Can you advise on this
